Today (Oct.3rd,2012) I felt like I won the lottery!! Today I found an HONEST auto shop. My car wouldn't work for a couple of days, nothing electrical was working. My regular mechanic, who has checked my car inside and out, told me that I probably needed to get a new ($800.00) alternator. But the wonderful people at Jays Auto Body quickly found the real reason: the clamps connecting the battery had become rusted, and with sandpaper, they easily fixed the problem,by removing the rust. Even though for years, my regular mechanic had been telling me that they had been checking my battery during routine inspections. Jays Auto Body also inspected my front brake pads & rotors, when another auto shop tried to scare me into buying new ones every year, or I would have an accident with my brakes.But when Jays Auto inspected my rotors; they said that they were just fine. A year ago, I was in an accident and called Livingston Collision to tow it for me. They not only assisted with the tow, but they also helped me through the entire insurance negotiation. They were able to negotiate with my insurance adjuster and ultimately helped in proving the car was totaled and making sure I got back the fair market value for the car. Brad, Val, and Allie were my advocates from start to finish and I'd highly recommend their shop to anyone. They've been in business for over 50 years, so it's obvious they take their reputation seriously. Quality body work (I've gotten previous body work done here and have always been impressed with the attention to detail) and exceptional customer service are what you'll get at this shop, no question.

This was one of the best auto body repair shops I have used to repair my vehicles. Excellent service; they came even came to my home to pick up a vehicle after my wife hit a deer. They worked well with my insurance company and kept costs within their estimates. We had our car back within weeks and it looks like new. Happy Wife, Happy Life!

Don't waste your time going around getting other estimates. They'll beat the competitor's price by about 30% and will finish faster, too. They did a great job on my 2005 Toyota Avalon. It had a nasty scratch along the side and Maaco fixed it seamlessly in 1 day (other places said 2-3). The owner, Alex, is great to deal with - straight-forward, honest, helpful and really nice.He will do twice as good of a job as those other body shops, for half the price!. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
