AFTER SPEAKING WITH THEIR HEAD MECHANIC, WE HAD OUR ROLLS ROYCE DELIVERED TO CARRIAGE HOUSE ON APRIL 4, 2013. HE INFORMED US HE WAS AN “EXPERT” AND THAT OUR MECHANICAL ISSUE (THE ALTERNATOR WAS NOT CHARGING) WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. HE WANTED $1,000 UP FRONT FOR A “DIAGNOSIS”. WE GAVE HIM THE MONEY. IN MID-MAY HE SAID HE NEEDED MORE TIME AND MONEY. WHEN WE WERE HESITANT, HE TOLD US THAT THE DIAGNOSIS HAD NOW BECOME A MATTER OF “PRIDE” TO HIM AND THAT HE WOULD NOT CHARGE US ANYMORE MONEY. HE WENT SO FAR AS TO TELL US THAT HE HAD A GROUP OF HIS MECHANICS WORKING ON THEIR “OWN TIME” TO ASSIST HIM IN FINDING OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. HE HELD THE CAR UNTIL JULY 9, 2013 AND WHEN WE ARRIVED TO PICK UP THE CAR (ANOTHER FLAT BED RIDE!), WE HAD TO SIGN A RELEASE. TO THIS DAY HE STILL HAS NOT GIVEN US A DIAGNOSIS AS TO WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR. HOWEVER, WE SHOULD NOTE THAT WHEN WE WENT TO PICK UP THE CAR, IT HAD BEEN FRESHLY WASHED. WE SENT THE CAR TO PATRICK’S IN SIMSBURY, CT. AFTER TWO DAYS IN HIS SHOP, OUR CAR WAS REPAIRED AND IN FANTASTIC WORKING ORDER. IN THE FUTURE, IF WE WANT THE WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE CAR WASH, WE WILL SEND OUR CAR TO CARRIAGE HOUSE.

I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. I went in for a flat tire and these guys were great. they fit me in right before they closed and couldn't be nicer. I thought they'd tried to get me in and out so fast but the mechanic stayed after his shift was over to help me. I couldn't be happier with the service so even though I own a Honda I brought my car to them for my next service. Its been 4 years now and I still feel like a friend when I walk in and Joe, Mike, Helene and the gang make me feel comfortable, like they're not going to rip me off like the guys in new rochelle. thanks for staying honest, dch toyota city has a class act bunch. I may even buy a toyota next month when my lease is up :0)

Mark is the nicest and most honest mechanic I have ever met. He not only did an amazing job, but explained everything to me as we'll. If you are looking for a truly honest mechanic this is the place. I've been going there for 4 years. Every visit he has been nice, honest, and has always does great work and happily answered all of my questions.
