I can't say enough about the professional service every time I bring in one of my Mercedes. For both old & newer cars, diagnosing the problems, finding the parts and fixing everything to perfection, with personal attention, is a perfect combination. Ricky & his team run a great organization and I recommend them to everyone!

I brought my high mileage Mercedes here after it decided to not want to start. What is great about C's Autohaus is what they didn't do; they didn't try to take advantage of me because I'm a Mercedes owner, which up until now, I thought was some kind of code for moron to repair shops. I'm used to taking my car in to a shop and having them try to sell me thousands of dollars worth of useless repairs with highly inflated part costs. C's Autohaus was able to diagnose that it was just the starter motor, and replaced it at a responable price. They were also able to find and fix an oil leak the same day at, again, a reasonable price, and they fixed some minor performance issues while they were in there gratis. After those repairs my fuel economy went from about 10 l/100km to around 7 l/100km (smaller number is better). The shop itself is pretty cool too. They have a lot of old VWs from the 60s and 70s on their lot which I'm guessing are project cars.

Took my SUV in for service to check a sputtering transmission. I was told I needed to repair a vacuum leak and battery which cost $800. Less than three weeks later the transmission went completely out and they charge me another $140 to tell me the transmission went completely out. The original missed diagnosis cost me $800 plus a towing fee and then they had enough nerve to charge me another $140 to tell me that the transmission was bad. When it was obviously bad three weeks prior and they just wanted to suck $800 out of me for other services. Unethical. Stay away.

I had my truck towed to this company on last week by AAA. Once they received the truck I called them to see if they looked at the truck and the gentle men told me it would be $85 to check the truck. I told them okay, go ahead with the service. The next day my husband called and they told me we had a bad battery (we had just purchased a new battery two days prior to getting the truck towed) and in order to do any type of service we would have to pay $800 dollar. After hearing them tell us we need to provide them with $800 to do any type of service we wanted to know what types of service they was going to perform. The next day we went to the shop and the lady at the desk called one of the mechanics upfront to explain to us what service he was going to perform and he couldn't tell us anything other then we needed to give them $800 before they could do anything. Meanwhile we took the bad battery back to the shop and the man informed us that the battery was fine, not sure who to believe we received a second opinion. And the outcome was the same GOOD BATTERY. At this point we had to find someone else to look at our truck and was charged a $41 storage fee by Charlie's and then our truck got towed to the wrong shop. I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY STARS but you have to for the review. I'm writing this review just for people to BEWARE!

Body Werkes II

AVOID BODYWERKES! We took our 2004 Nissan Quest to Body Werkes II because the coat hanger handles inside were dripping water after a good rain. Our car has 4 moonroofs and a sunroof. $800 dollars later, it still leaks. Carlson of BodyWerkes II told us that the moon roof linings were all rusted out and that it all needed replaced, to the tune of $800. It took a week to finish the work. The next day, we took the van from Dayton to east of Columbus, at least a 2 hours drive... and our ceiling console above the kids' heads was letting out a high-pitched SQUEAK SQUEAK the whole way there, like a cricket with a megaphone. They had replaced the ceiling console incorrectly. Imagine 2 hours of that. Yeah. We took the van back in and they fixed the squeaking in just a few minutes. Okay, we'll give them the benefit of the doubt, mistakes happen and it was a quick fix. Two weeks later, we are going to Cedar Point... a 4 hour drive from Dayton. The coat hanger handle starts leaking on my daughter, and did for hours. $800 later and the car is still leaking?? I called Body Werkes II and left a message that Thursday. I left another one on Friday. No one called me back. The next week, I finally get someone on the phone. It's Carlson, the man in charge of the shop. Carlson is rude, folks. He talks down to me the entire phone call. I told him that we paid him $800 to fix a leak in our van, and it's still leaking, and leaking all over my daughter on a long trip. He said I can’t expect to take a van in to get it fixed, and then months later, ask for free service. Buddy, this was TWO WEEKS ago, and it took a WEEK to get a hold of you! And it’s the same leak same spot. He tried every trick to slip out of his responsibilities. He treated me like I had no business asking him to do what I had paid him to do. He finally told me that the glass had a warranty on it, and if it was the glass, then the glass company would replace it. If it was something else, then they would charge us for it. I told him I didn’t even know if it was the glass, and he sure wasn't going to charge me for anything! If I'm taking my van in for the SAME PROBLEM, then you did NOT FIX IT. He said it probably wasn’t the glass leaking. Well then why did you charge me $800 to fix the glass if that wasn’t the cause in the first place?? He was EXTREMELY RUDE to me over the phone. I do not let people push me around, and this guy really thought he could yell at me. I mean yell. I couldn’t believe that the man who runs this shop would be so rude to a customer… especially since this would be the THIRD TIME we would have to take the van back in. He cut me off, wouldn’t let me speak, and was your stereotypical chauvinistic mechanic. Carlson needs some serious training in social skills. As a manager myself, I would never speak to a customer in that manner. We decided to take the van back in to Body Werkes II because at least the glass company would give us new windows if that was the case, which didn’t have anything to do with Carlson’s shop. My husband is in the National Guard and was getting deployed in the next 2 days, so we had to do something fast. Another place wouldn’t have our glass under warranty, so we didn’t have a choice. My husband took it in. Carlson now says it wasn’t the glass at all, it was tubes from the sunroof that needed cleaning out. How nice that he could clean them out FOR $350. Are you kidding me?? I gave this guy $800 to fix a leak in my van. It was up to him to diagnose and fix the problem… so he misdiagnoses it, charges me $800, then wants another $350 to fix what he NOW says is the problem?? No, my husband told him to put it back together and we’d take our business elsewhere. Carlson then proceeds to ARGUE with my husband, acting like he’s NOT going to put it back together, and that it would be MUCH more convenient for us to pay him $350 first! My husband finally talks this guy into putting our van back together. At this point, our family is stressed with his deployment, and he didn't want to have Carlson and his bad attitude in our lives anymore. So, now, my husband is gone on deployment and I’m driving the kids home today. A very high pitched, familiar, SQUEAK SQUEAK starts to set in on the van. They didn’t replace the ceiling console correctly. Again. I researched it, went out there with a wrench, detached it, and found that they had broken the plastic hole that a screw goes into to attach it, and the piece of plastic was stuck above the console. I’m not even sure I fixed it. But I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Body Werkes II. Carlson doesn’t care how rude or deceitful he is to his customers. Avoid this body shop like the plague, because if they neglect to fix the problem, or even break your car in the process, they will not try to make it right. In fact, they’ll just scream into the phone at you. Now, I'm posting reviews any where I can so that no one else has to deal with this!

Outstanding professional mechanics. Saved me a bunch of money on a used car purchase. The car looked good, but had numerous mechanical issues that were not readily identifiable. But the Pit Stop crew identified the problems to me and advised I stay away from the deal. If not for them I would have purchased the car and ended up spending thousands to fix.
