I got quoted $2k on a steering control arm replacement. I don’t do much auto work myself. With my limited auto repair experience it took me barely 2 hours by myself. $1k quote for a simple brake and rotor replacement. I’m sure their repair quality is fine but their prices are completely unreasonable. I will not be back

I have been to this shop for years, it recently changed management and only went downhill. I took my vehicle in for strut repair, an unrelated transmission gasket repair and an oil change. My main complaint was my car was shaking on acceleration/deceleration. 24 hours after they said my car would be complete and $1600 later, my car is shaking on acceleration, deceleration and idle. They put in the wrong weight of oil but "graciously" changed it again without charging me again. When I communicated my frustration I got an empty apology and an offer for a free oil change in three months. Between the poor communication of when to expect repairs to be completed and the shoddy work, I would recommend people avoid this shop.

My boyfriend went here to get his car worked on with my GPS in his car. He forgot to put it in the glove dept. so it was on the floor. After they worked on it the GPS disappeared. We filed a police report but no one fessed and the manager said we were liable. Companies are supposed to take care of their customers and we felt the exact opposite. We have not gotten reimbursed. Be careful of your things if you go here because if they happen to disappear they are not held liable.

Here is the story, my daughter lives two hours away from me (her DAD) I have been in business for 30 years but have been an auto and Harley Davidson mechanic and body man for 40 years. my daughter has been there when I worked on cars and motorcycles. Custom cars, Harley, race cars and just regular vehicles. I taught her a lot about what I do. She is very smart about a lot of things, but you try your hardest to make her look stupid. Yes her ABS light was on. when she said she pulled the fuse for the ABS you tried to tell her how unsafe it was and what made her think it was a good idea to do that. She tried to explain to you that when you are having trouble with the peddle either getting hard or going to far down on ABS, unplug it or pull the fuse, until you can get the censers fixed it will just be like a regular brake. You know they had regular cars and trucks back in the day, and I and my daughter know how to drive with out ABS.I know you were just trying to make more money, NOT COOL! Also you told her she had a tire out of balance. Now I want to know how you knew that if you did not drive it.? The only why to tell is to drive it to see if there is a shake, or put the wheel on the balancer. Or do you have some new tool I don"t know about.I don't do business that way I have always been honest with my customers and have never tried to sell them things they did not need or want, or make them feel dumb. She came in for a $21.95 oil change and paid 136.00. even with you balancing 4 tires that at most would be $10.00 a tire and one air filter does not come to $139.00 with a $59.00 discount off the labor. She will drive to my shop and I will do all the work on her truck. She will never be back there. If I had more time and money, I would put a shop over in Springfield and do it right. I am very ashamed to know there are still Mechanics out there that treat people the way your shop does.

There was an issue with the part failing that we replaced and the good folks at Weber Auto immediately fixed it and took care of it. Cannot recommend these guys more. Always honest and do great work. Feel like family there.

Rimtyme helped me out in a big way. I brought my Cadillac into them and they gave me 20's with a perfect look to compliment my ride for a reasonable price. What I like best was the way the staff had took out several rims to my car so I could get an idea of what it would look like. I will be getting my service and rims in the future from them.

I was going to have a tire service here so I parked my car in front of the shop's gate. When I got out the car, the mechanic literally YELLED at me to move the car. The first idea that came out of my mind was the service is going to be terrible. So I got in the car and left, dont want to spend my time here. They lost money and reputation, it was very unprofessional.

These guys are liars and crooks! I took my car in for a simple oil change with a tire rotation. They told me I need to have all of my brakes and rotors and calipers replaced for $800.00. By the way, they did this 2 years ago when I went in for an oil change. 2 years ago, my buddy and I reaplced the back brakes because we heard something wrong. The oil change was literally 6 months later when they told me the brakes needed to be redone. So my 6 month old brakes needed to be replaced. This time, I obviously knew better so told them to put my car back together and not to touch anything. Well, my buddy and I got the brakes and rotors at Advanced Auto parts who apparantly sells some parts to Midas. So I took the car there because I was within the warranty period on the back brakes. They said they looked good, but because Midas was a client of theirs and recommended replacement, they would warranty the parts out. We replaced both the front and rear brakes yesterday and I took the parts back to Advanced to get reimbursed. They said there was literally nothing wrong with them as did my friend. He also suggested that their particular store has stopped doing business with Midas because of these practices. As a kicker, I did have Midas replace the fronts about 5 years ago (which I negotiated about $100 off the price they quoted) and when I went in for that first oil change they told me I needed all new brakes. I reminded them they had just done the fronts about a year ago and they said, oh yeah just the backs need to be replaced. This time they said the calipers needed to be replaced and when I questioned them they said they just needed to be cleaned. This place will lie, cheat, and take advantage of you at any opportunity. Also, note that when they guarantee brake pads for life, brake pads are $25....they do not give free service to put them on so you will still pay another $100 for the service fee and deal with all of the above telling you all

11/27/2014 Repair performed: removed and replaced blower motor resistor. Rating: Poor, Questionable Price Gouging Charged $140.99 for the replacement part, 7031127 TRANSISTOR BMR 1 PC TECCH. Looked online for the cost of a blower motor resistor which was $34.59, the Honda dealership's cost was $64.49. Without a doubt, price gouging. I asked the person that assisted me why it was so expensive and why that part was used. He stated that Firestone had no control over the pricing of parts and that the coding for that part was correct ( a transistor bmr).. Old part and packaging from new part weren't left in car. I contacted corporate office and received a refund of $106.

DO NOT GO HERE! They are scammers. I had a nail in my tire and went here to get it patched. Earlier in the day I had gotten an oil change and maintenance check at a different company. They checked all my fluid levels and checked my battery. Result: battery perfect. But I went to Monro and not only did they check my battery without me asking them to, but I was told my "battery is completely shot." What liars. I had my mechanic neighbor also check and he said it was perfectly fine.

I will never bring my suv to them again. They lied about what needed to be done, and they also messed around with the axels towards the rear of the vehicle. Plus they over charge and lied about the amount I owed. This is the worst company in the world, I would suggest not going not even for an oil change. An single women beware because they will try and convenience you that your vehicle is falling apart. My last visit they tried to tell me that I needed stocks for the front of the vehicle. I went to the dealer ship and they said no way their is nothing wrong with the stocks. Midas is the worst.

I took my car in for air conditioner inspection . They quoted me a price ,also had a coupon. So I told them to do the repair. The mechanic(JAMES) Said I needed a part. I ask How Long that the part would arrive?This is where everything went down hill. He said 2 hrs So I agreed Thinking the part would fix my car. After 4 HOURS I was informed it was fixed I could drive my car .My bill was $34.99 - $30.00 COUPON. Also $ 583.20. Ipaid for the services and left on my way to Detroit to visit my family. I was on the road still in Ohio it started blowing out hot air.When arriving in Detroit I went to a Firestone there.When there the tech (Richard) said I would need to replace the AB compressor and clutchCost additional $501.06.So NOT EVEN 3 HOURS THE AIR CONDITIONER IS BROKE AFTER i JUST PAID 2 HAVE IT FIXED IN OHIO. I took my car in for a power steering and a oil pan repair. They stated that the repairs were completed but neither were. They actually damaged my oil housing. I called cooperate who set up a claim and sent out an inspector to see what the issue was. After the inspector stated they damaged my car and should pay to have it repaired. They then never contacted me and when I called I was told that I need to file a claim with the bbb/state because they are not going to repair what they damaged. They damaged my car and then say too bad get it fixed oh and pay for our mistake
