Another great service experience! I have been a customer for 4 years. I'm not sure why it took 10 years living in this area, for me to find this established shop. I have been very satisfied with all of the service provided. They are professional, courteous, honest, ethical & provided quality work on my Infiniti, BMW and Landcruiser. They provide you details on the service that needs to be performed and the labor rates are very reasonable. I can't say enough about the satisfaction and savings that I have experienced by taking my vehicles to Byrd Automotive. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

Quoted the price of $200 plus tax over the phone and was later told the charge was $276 plus tax due to the programming of convertible top. I expressed to the mechanic, who I assume was the owner, the price I was told and I would like it to be honored. I was then told by the mechanic I was quoted $212.50 plus tax over the phone which I expressed was not what the lady told me. In addition to not being charged the right amount I asked the receptionist if it’s possible for the mechanic put the battery housing cover back on the battery once complete since an O’Rileys worker removed it to inspect the battery. She stated it wasn’t a problem which I later discovered it was not done. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I was provided given it was my first time having maintenance done at the shop.

Needed State Inspection

18 year old daughter takes her car in for an oil change and tire rotation. $20 emergency money in the glove box is gone. They needed to go in the glove box to get the locking lug nut keys. Called asked for a manager guy who answered the phone (Alex) says he remembers the car and my daughter. Stated it was hard for him to believe (but he was not calling me a liar) but he know of many cars with $$ lying around and it has never been taken. Said he would address this with staff. Beware don't leave valuables in the car!!!!!

When it comes to car care, "trust" is a hard thing to come by. But with Dan and his team at Kingwood Service Center, you can be sure that you're being treated right. They do great work at reasonable costs. I always recommend them to everyone I meet. They're honest, solid, hard-working guys... and they're a rare breed in an industry fraught with dishonesty and untrustworthiness. My family and I have used low cost automotive service for years and it found them to be fair market value priced and extremely honest. They're diagnostics have been spot on, in one event they missed the diagnosis made a repair but then make good on the repair with the correct diagnosis at no cost to me. I've had an alternator replaced on a 2007 vehicle unfortunately I've gotten manufactured defects on an alternator two times back to back and low cost automotive not only that the manufacturer to warranty the alternator but to my surprise and delight low cost automotive stood good on the warranty in regards to the labor.
