Retail tire service near Desoto, TX

Here's a little heads up..... My car broke down in the drive way of this shop when I went to get my tire fixed. I was charged $700 for a repair on the computer that I later learned I could have COMPLETELY REPLACED for $330 The next day on my way home from work the check engine light came on. Surprisingly he told me what was wrong before he ever even popped the hood? Psychic or sabotage??? Hmmmmmm I wonder. For this new problem that mysteriously appeared the very next time that I drove it after he worked on it, I was quoted a price of $150, for a part that we purchased from Autozone for $8.99, and was replaced in about 15 minutes.....The car left the drive way after over $700 in repairs, and died in the next door neighbors driveway the next day. We were offered no warranty on the work that Jimmy did, we didn't even receive a receipt. If you break down in Ennis Texas PLEASE PLEASE RUN don't walk RUN as fast and as far as you can in the other direction from this man and his shop so that you don't get taken the way we did. I had only minor repair issues with this vehicle prior to this, and would NEVER have used anyone except my regular mechanic work on it except he was out of town when this happened. I have never had an experience of taking a car to a mechanic and it come back in WORSE condition than when we sent it in. I honestly 100% believe that this man not only totally me on the repair, but also tamper with my car thinking I would be a sucker and bring it back to him to do the repair thereby putting the safety of me my husband and our six small grandchildren at risk. RUN!!RUN!! RUN!!! anywhere but here I wouldn;'t take my granddaughters Barbie car in to this guy to get fixed.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!  I needed an alignment on my vehicle. Called a few places and the one that seemed to have a better deal was dfw frame and alignment. The alignment was quoted at around $60 which seemed pretty decent. Little did I know that after taking my car in to dfw frame and alignment, it quickly went from $60 to about $600 worth of work and repair. On top of that, it cost $42.50 just to tell me that.....  without having anything done to the car!! Diagnostic fees... It is posted on the counter top handwritten on a piece of paper. But unless your looking for it,  you wouldn't catch it. Nor do they go out of their way to let you know there is a diagnostic fee. They wouldn't do the alignment unless I first replaced my front tire. Otherwise it would void any type of warranty with the alignment service I was needing.  They stated that my front two axles would need to be replaced as well which would bring it up to about $600. But never once was it ever verbally discussed that just from them taking my keys and getting my car on a lift to find this out would cost me $42.50. The employee did state however, that if I were to come back to get my axles done the $42.50 wouldnt be charged again for the work...... But it would NOT be returned if I got the tire replaced and came back the next day to get just the alignment done.  I did clarify with dfw alignment that had I had good tires,  they would have gone through with the alignment and not charged me the diagnostic fee. Doesnt make any sense to me. Bottom line, had they been a more upfront that there would be a fee regardless of any work being done, I might have considered giving them a try. It just feels sneaky to me really set the character of the place. I'd personally be more loyal with my business to a place that doesn't try to outsmart you or always give you the upsale. just good quality and trustworthy service. I'm still looking for one. But dfw frame and alignment is definately out of that category in my book.

Scott & the rest of the employees at this shop give excellent service. I had to get my front brakes done a month or 2 ago & they were able to provide an affordable price for me to get them done as well as have the work done while I was at work in about an hour's time. Not only was it done conveniently fast, it was done right. Then about 2 weeks ago my car was vandalized leaving both of my passenger side windows shattered. Again I had the repairs done at FT Auto & not only saved myself some struggle as well as money on the glass replacement but also recieved the same great timely service again. If there are any repairs you are needing done to your car- the right & affordable way- then look no further.

Honest. Fast. Reasonable rates. Friendly. Guest wifi. Will call and/ or text you when ur vehicle is done or with an estimate. I've been using them for over 3 yrs. Every repair has been done quickly and correctly with no surprises. I won't go anywhere else to have my vehicles repaired.

This place is horrible went there for two used tires for a small trailer and they ended up putting Cracked and out of date tires on the wheels then after he told me 25 each then charged me 35 each on my card very sketchy little tire shop remember amigos the law states you can't sale a used tire older than 5 years old I will make sure I pass this along

I came here due to the good comments on the google sites. But they are simply AWEFUL!!! They replaced two rear tires and removed the nail on the left front; however, they didn't put the valve caps back on all those 3. They put in the different tire that they showed earlier. The guy also said i won't find any better deal than him, 4 tires for 290. I agreed the price's pretty good. But becareful, those tires are made in China. Hello, they are HIFLY for which i never heard of. I google that brand, but not so many sites or reviews on them. SO BEWARE OF THESE YOUNG GUYS RUNNING THIS SHOP!!!

You are in good hands with Alex at Auto Hans. He is experienced and came highly recommended to me by other BMW owners. Alex was able to get me in immediately just before Closing recently even without an appointment to install a new battery so that I wouldn't be stranded in very cold weather. That's good service and greatly appreciated. Maintenance and Repairs are done properly and you WILL save money over the Dealership !

They have been wrestling with the front end of my old truck for 6 months for a $69 alignment, due to damage to a bolt that was NOT their fault. Never been less than courteous, I am about to pay them for another alignment *(don't do lifetime, on this truck I'll bet they are glad) and take my truck back in, I hit a curb in Arlington. They are helping me find a RARE replacement bolt that is long enough to hold a proper alignment. I bought 4 tires from them in May because I felt like I owed them the sale, tires are great. I do my own oil changes, and just use NTB for tires and alignment.

After a year of problems with my car, Golden Rule in 24hrs had it diagnosed and repaired. I would highly recommend especially to single female car owners. For once I had repair done and didn't have to take back because something not done correct or another issue was now present. They are the Best!

Do not take your car here, they will rip you off! I wouldn't even give them a 1 star. I took my car there a week ago for an evaluation. My car wouldn't start after filling it up with gas and there was a terrible grinding sound coming from the front end. They told me that the right and left control arms were out and needed to be replaced. The car was misfiring because the ignition coils needed to be and they had to take off the manifold to get to it. $2800 evaluation. I allowed an oil change for $80 and picked up my car that evening. I took my car to another garage and it was found to be out of power steering fluid which should have been checked with the $80 oil change. Nothing was wrong with the lower arms. The hard start was due to a $56 purge value which cost me in labor $123. I spent less on the car to get it fixed than the $213 it cost me for an oil change and evaluation. I assume they were trying to rip me off since I am a woman! I'm not sure but I will never ever go back here again! I strongly advise you to do the same!
