I've always felt Mid Cities would be honest and straight forward about what repairs were absolutely needed and which weren't necessary. Also felt I was getting competitive price. Something has changed over the last year or 2. Never felt I had to double check the cost they were quoting. Purchased a used pick up for new cabin in Michigan. Knew truck wasn't perfect but first repair quote was $5k. Really bigger issue was the cost of the repairs. I'm not a technical guy but in my research, I found their pricing to be very high. Honestly felt taken advantage of. Also happened with my daughters Mazda turbo replacement last year. $3500 repair on a car we sold last month for $3500. In past Mid Cities would of told me to not repair and get what you can for it. I depended on them for honest feedback and fair prices. Unfortunately, after 20+ years I'm in search of a new repair shop I can trust. Great folks at Mid Cities and I wish them the best.

Knowing they offer a shuttle service is a huge plus, but the service and fair price is what I'll come back for. My mechanic worked with me on my parts issues and I feel like I got a good price for quality installing shocks all around. Staff made it as painless as possible and truck drives like it did new. Charles the service manager is OUTSTANDING. My car would not start at... read more Charles the service manager is OUTSTANDING. My car would not start at my home. I had a jump from AAA. Later when I pulled my car out of the garage there appeared on my dash many symbols. I called Lexus and they told me it could be my altenator, traction, etc. not safe to drive and needs to be towed. I again called AAA and had my car towed to your facility which I had used before. Charles called me and said he charged my car and all symbols went off my dash and everything was fine. I have no car knowledge. I am my husbands' care giver.. We are both 86 yrs. old. Charles arranged to drop off my car and have another person and car from their facility drive back so that I did not have to drive anyone back to your facility. THIS IS MOST CARING AND GREAT SERVICE. I SO APPRECIATED ALL HE DID FOR ME DURING THIS TRYING TIME. If I had gone to Lexus who knows what they would have said was wrong with my car or the cost. THANK YOU VIRGINIA A. TALAC
