First off, let me give a thanks to Sabien and the rest of the staff at Standard Gear and Transmission! The service was awesome, and the results are incredible! Hopefully my experience will help others with the Cummins / G56 drivetrain. My throwout bearing was making noise for some time, and I continued to drive the truck, as it is my daily driver. Long story short, this destroyed my clutch fork, input shaft, and input bearing. I was on the fence for some time about doing away with the stock dual-mass flywheel and clutch. Sabien recommended a South Bend Clutch OFEK kit, and let me say, it is amazing! The engagement is similar to stock, but very positive. It does not grab, and shifts are silky smooth. The trans was refilled with 30 wt synchromesh, and it now runs smoother and quieter than I ever believed a G56 could. Pedal effort with the new hydraulics is so light that I nearly pushed the pedal through the floorboard when I started the truck for the first time. Gone are the truck's tendency to buck and jerk in reverse, and the noises from the factory clutch. I'm literally having to learn to drive the truck again, as it's manners and sounds are like new. I have taken both cars on a couple of occasions. They are great at the complicated issues. The cars are getting older and are starting to have issues. I can trust the team to diagnose everything correctly. On a recent visit, I was following my wife in her car. Her comment, "Autocare European, won't they be expensive?" The answer is they are very affordable. Plus on one visit they gave me a loan car. Plus, they detail the car on each visit. I am sold.

I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease. Otis did a great job detailing our car which had long needed some attention and care after many years being parked outside in the sun. He did a wonderful job on cleaning the interior and made the outside look like it had just come from the showroom. Otis was is very careful and thorough in his work, and went above and beyond our expectations to clean every corner of the car. It has been two days and we are still finding pleasant surprises of places where he spent extra time and detail to clean the interior.
