After a year of problems with my car, Golden Rule in 24hrs had it diagnosed and repaired. I would highly recommend especially to single female car owners. For once I had repair done and didn't have to take back because something not done correct or another issue was now present. They are the Best!

Do not take your car here, they will rip you off! I wouldn't even give them a 1 star. I took my car there a week ago for an evaluation. My car wouldn't start after filling it up with gas and there was a terrible grinding sound coming from the front end. They told me that the right and left control arms were out and needed to be replaced. The car was misfiring because the ignition coils needed to be and they had to take off the manifold to get to it. $2800 evaluation. I allowed an oil change for $80 and picked up my car that evening. I took my car to another garage and it was found to be out of power steering fluid which should have been checked with the $80 oil change. Nothing was wrong with the lower arms. The hard start was due to a $56 purge value which cost me in labor $123. I spent less on the car to get it fixed than the $213 it cost me for an oil change and evaluation. I assume they were trying to rip me off since I am a woman! I'm not sure but I will never ever go back here again! I strongly advise you to do the same!

I took my car in for some brake work, when they called to say it was ready they suggested I have the fuel filter changed. I have had it done at other place before and was charged $30-35. Carl's charged me $127.80. When I disputed it I was told a master mechanic changed your gas filer. I was told if I bring it in for an oil change they would upgrade me to synthetic oil for free. -- But wouldn't I be paying a "master mechanic" to do the oil change? Wonder how much that would cost $1000.00??? I declined.

I was very impressed that they noticed my oil was extremely low since they were replacing a radiator. This shows how thorough they are, that they checked the oil without being asked. I was very impressed.

Excellent service, I have been with them for a few years .. They have always been totally honest with me and take goood care of my vehicles ... I am extremely touchy about my cars as I have been scammed a few times in the past and they are nothing but straight up honest with what my vehicles need and dont need .... My rear brakes were locking up, and Rod knew exactly what the problem was. It is fixed now, and I'll be taking my car back for other needs. These guys do great work, whether your car needs mechanical work or paint and body.
