I found the shop to be very clean and the waiting area impressive. The work they did for me was done on time and for exactly what they told me. I will be back!

This place is a business that you should avoid at all cost, if I am able to give them a minus star I would, however, I went for an oil change on Monday afternoon, after they finished I noticed a sound coming from the engine, I asked them what that noise is coming from under the hood they told me it was normal it will go away after you drive it. Took my vehicle home, then Tuesday morning, I took my daughter to school, the noise became even more noticeably louder. While on the highway to pick up my daughter from school, parts of the engine fell off on the highway, oil light came on, smoke from my engine started coming out of hood and inside my car through the air conditioning vents and lost complete power to the engine, rolled to a stop on the side of the highway. Called this business about what just occurred, and that my car was fine until I went to you for an oil change, and that this is clearly your fault. Their response was you can't prove it, get a lawyer, and hung up on me. Dealership adviced me that my engine is totaled, a new engine will cost 5700.00. A mechanic looked at the engine and told me that there was never enough oil in the engine and the crank shaft had broke due to that reason. All this for a small oil change. Avoid this business.

Being a disable veteran, I Strongly advice anyone needing not only transmission work but any type auto mobile service to feel confident that you will see quality work. After calling all over the place, Universal Transmission was the only place that would clear and reset the codes on my wife's BMW After doing so, the guy helping me told me that cylinder 4 was misfiring and that it was probably the ignition coil. After I replaced it, the car worked perfect. I highly recommend UNIVERSAL TRANSMISSION. Thanks guys!!!..

What a great experience at this Jiffy Lube ! I haven't been treated this well in any other auto service center. No pressure, kind and very professional. Tom went out of his way to help. I will tell my family and friends about this location.

If you are looking for an honest reliable shop in the area then you have to try Golden Wrench located in the busy side of west side houston. My 2008 Lexus LS460 was due for the 60k maintenance and I was pressed for time, so I was not able to take it to Westside Lexus and I'm glad I didn't because that rate at Golden Wrench is half! To my surprise they have a master technician there that specializes in Japanese vehicles, so my car was a snap for him.

This shop is small, but they were very professional. I was told from the dealer i had several oil leaks and it would cost 2,300 dollars to fix my BMW. I heard about hi tech from a friend and they took care of me. They offered to clean off the oil first, and run the engine to verify if i had more than one leak. I didn't! It turns out i had one leak and they fixed it for less than half that. They were honest and up front about everything they told me. There are alot of rip off shops out there. Went in for a M/T fluid change and they did a great job. My car felt like it was shifting better as soon as a left the parking lot. They have a nice waiting area with free wifi and coffee so hanging out for a little bit was pretty relaxing. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I was very pleased with the job the mechanics did, the prices, and especially the customer service. Robbie was the guy I spoke with and he was very friendly. He made me feel right at home even though I'm just a stranger passing through.

11-18 -19 My car over heated. Stan, who is a lair and a cheat, told me it was a thermostat. So I greed to have them fix it. Then Stan called claiming the water pump was bad and it is easier to replace the timing belt at this time so I agreed. While they changed the timing belt they mistimed the engine and destroyed it. They bought a replacement engine a “ salvaged” long block. No telling how many mile is on it! I asked that they put the parts I paid for on the salvaged engine. Almost ONE month later, 12-16-19 after repeated calls made by me I was able to pick up my car. I presented the rental car bill and Stan, who is a lair and a cheat said the owner will send me a check, but my car broke after 10 minutes of driving. They tried to claimed it was the exhaust not the engine but eventually cleared the problem. I asked Stan who is a lair and a cheat, if the new parts are on my car and he said no, but I’m going to warranty it for 3yrs 36k miles prorated. Next morning the engine light came on so I took it to the dealer it was there for 3 days while repairing the wiring and sensors that weren’t wired correctly and install missing bolts on the engine! To date my car has still overheated 2X I have exhaust fumes in the cab and most importantly I have not been reimbursed for the rental car and don’t have the parts I paid for.

Horrible Service. These boys don't know what there doing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE. They took my money but did not provide the service stated on the invoice. Had to get new brakes and rotors within 3 months of them putting new brakes and Rotors on, really really!!! Better Business Bureau gives this Meineke location an "F" rating . Sad but true they are not to be trusted. This business is not BBB accredited.

Was sent to this shop by Discount Tires to repair a stud they broke on my van. This shop is horrible, they lack in Customer Service and gave me the run around and never fixed the van. Discount Tires was notifed and they are currently looking for a new vendor.

This was a very unacceptable experience today, Sunday Dec. 15, 2013. My boyfriend dropped off his car here to get a brakejob, and someone took him home since it would be an all day job. The person told him he would pick him up when complete. I came by to simply get an oil change they said would take an hour. I searched for others on 1960, but there were none so I returned and was told 45 minutes this time. So I entered the waiting room and a fellow was talking on the phone at noon saying he'd been there since 9 for an oil change. I looked in the repair area and saw 2 teenage boys in their shorts and one slightly older guy in long pants being the only workers. I went to the desk and told them that after 45 mins. I would get my key and leave whether or not they had started. They completed mine but failed to turn off the maintenance reqd light. Later around 5:30, as I was going to my last tango practice of the year, my boyfriend called to come all the way to Cypress to pick him up since they never answered the phone to do so. About half way he called and said someone was on the way. Then called again saying he had to find a ride with a neighbor because no one showed after he waited for 30 mins outside his house in the cold weather. VERY unprofessional, not answering their workphone or following thru on the pickup. This ruined both our evenings!! Susan Young

Scammers! They are cutting corners and you don t know it! He quoted me a price to fix my catalytic converter. When the car was ready he claimed the O2 sensor was also bad and replaced it without calling first! (I still don t believe him because there is a different code for failing O2 sensors. He was just trying to get more money off me.) That added almosts another $200! He said he would do an oil change for free, but he put regular oil in it instead of the synthetic that I always use. I told them not to do anything else to my car. I took it to another place immediately to change the oil AGAIN. They told me the work had not been done properly and that they didn t replace the oil filter when they replaced the oil...that I need to take the car somewhere else to have the work cleaned up. (incorrect bolts and seals) Don t use these people if you want to actually get the work you are paying for!!!

I was never told that the tires were not balanced. Tires were mounted on the rims but never balanced. Not balancing the tires caused damage to the tires after I drove the RV on the highway . This caused an extremely harsh ride. Violet and heavy shaking. When I returned the RV to JV Houston Tires & Wheels I was informed they could not balance the wheels because they did not have the proper hubs for the tire balancing machine. I have attempted to have the tires balanced, at my expense to no avail. This has gone on for a year with no attempt to rectify the problem. Very hard person to deal with.

The BBB gives them an F rating -- wonder why? Could it be that after FOUR trips, with no loaners available, my car STILL had the Service Engine Soon light go on before I got home??? They don't know what they are doing, they are rude, and they don't care. The General Manager won't return phone calls. Avoid the dealership, but ESPECIALLY the service department!
