This lack of transparency can cost the customer a good deal of money over an above what is considered reasonable. First consult a auto parts store for pricing on parts needed, you'll find that the retail pricing will be less than what your paying the auto repair shop. In most cases auto repair labor charges will exceed the cost of parts by 70 to 300 percent, a wide disparity indeed.

Top notch organization. I recently purchased a used Volvo and I needed a mechanic shop that I could trust. I made several requests to about 10 different shops and this was the only one that responded in a timely manner and with a professionally written quote and a phone call. This was also the farthest from my home than the others I had send inquiries to. So based on the quick professional response and a couple of phone conversations that impressed me, I chose European Auto Tech. Arthur and Caesar were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and even had my car ready the next morning. Originally they said they may have it for a couple of days, so they were actually ahead of schedule. They did find a few things that needed immediate attention and they called me to see if I wanted to proceed and didn't add any extra labor charges onto the bill. Scott & the rest of the employees at this shop give excellent service. I had to get my front brakes done a month or 2 ago & they were able to provide an affordable price for me to get them done as well as have the work done while I was at work in about an hour's time. Not only was it done conveniently fast, it was done right. Then about 2 weeks ago my car was vandalized leaving both of my passenger side windows shattered. Again I had the repairs done at FT Auto & not only saved myself some struggle as well as money on the glass replacement but also recieved the same great timely service again. If there are any repairs you are needing done to your car- the right & affordable way- then look no further.

He will shop parts from different suppliers to find a deal, etc. then present all the options to you and he lets the customer decide. He has always been honest with me and never suggests extra work that doesn't truly need to be done. Never pushy. Always wants what is best for the customer's needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

These folks are the real deal! Friendly and qualified, they don't sell you stuff you don't need. They just rebuilt my engine and the final bill was $200 less than the estimate. When's the last time THAT happened to you? They work on classics as well as modern cars...there's always a cool car or two to check out when you are there!

My car would not start, I thought it was a bad battery. They checked it out and said the battery was good - no need to waste money on a new battery. They found the problem (alternator), and fixed it the same day. Price was reasonable too.
