In one instance I had them check a suspension item on my Infiniti that another shop said needs repair. Would have been an easy thing gif them to agree with the other place and do the $300 + fix. This is a nasty sales gimmick used to con people into agreeing to unnecessary work. If your car is unfit to drive that is to be determined by the state vehicle safety inspection station you choose to take your car or truck to once a year.
