I stopped going there because the staff was not very customer friendly, especially the older women service helpper, she was very snippy and if you questioned anything in charges she would get very rude. I recently was in a bind for oil change and was pleased to see a new manager. He was very nice knew what he was talking about and showed me all of the reasons why I needed the items replaced on my car. I will most deffinatly be going back to the quick lube there! I brought in my 2003 Honda civic after experiencing a complete failure of my ignition column switch. I was quoted 600+ dollars to replace the switch. I thought this to be a bit "over the top" price as the national average repair price ranges from 300 to 500 dollars. Well it just happen to have been a Monday before Christmas eve and I needed to have the car back ASAP. Being the week of Christmas they were the only shop near by- that had time to take a look at my car and because the ignition key would no longer fit or turn - I had no choice to have it towed there. The honesty and integrity of this shop is called into serious question. I needed the car back ASAP so I gave the go ahead to replace the ignition switch. When the car was ready to be picked up- the price jumped to $870 and is too often the case excuses were made. The "car needed to be reprogrammed" after the installation of the new switch. Labor I was told was 1.5 hours. 1.5 hours of labor plus reprogramming=$870? I do not think so. . I am not a car mechanic but I have worked many years as maintenance technician so I am both technically and mechanically inclined. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO GRADYS AUTO AS THE PRICES ARE MORE OFTEN- than not very UNREASONABLE ALONG WITH WE ARE DOING YOU A "FAVOR" TYPE OF ATTITUDE FROM THERE MECHANICS.

Service as great. Done when said and less than expected....it was a BMW!

i had my vehicle to 4 different shops and have been without my vehicle for almost a month. i then was referred to schaumann's auto electric, where not only did they fix my car, but did it in a timely manner and at a fair price. i would highly recommend this place if you are having car troubles.
