I was told that this mechanic was an honest one, which was a very big mistake on my part to begin with because there are not any honest mechanics. When the guy showed up, he was rude and smelled like alchohol. I should have called the police right then and there but because I was already stranded on the side of the freeway for 45min and HAD to get home to my kids I let him do the work. It was just a simple flat, I dont change tires thats my husbands job. Well the guy continued to insist that the rim had to be replaced as well as the tire, not knowing any better I said OK, after dealing with the rude, so called mechanic, I finally got home. The next morning I went out to my car to see the same tire flat. This time I made my husband handle it, and after he got home from discount tire I found out the tire already had a previous plug in it and the rim was unbalanceable because it was bent, not new like the guy said, my rim was fine and the tire took a free plug from discount tire. UGHH. I have tried to contact the guy about it but he has been since avoiding me. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!
