I want to thank Richard and the whole team who worked on my older SLK 320. I travel for work and she has been sitting for the past 2 years. I had her brought in, they diagnosed her needs and provided a written estimate and made recommendations for what was needed. The communication between Richard and I was through phone calls and e-mails as I was out of state the entire time. What a wonderful group of people who take amazing pride in their work. WOW These guys are awesome! Their honesty and troubleshooting skills puts them over the top. I'm a 28 year Aviation Industry veteran and would highly recommend Transbuilt Transmission. I appreciate and know good mechanics when I see them. My Jeep Grand Cherokee had transmission related problems along with other electrical issues. Their diagnostics led them to an electrical module that was interfering with the vehicles communication data bus. They were honest about their findings and were very effective in the repair. My 2011 car stalled out multiple time and was accelerating when in park. Willow bend automotive called and told me my filter was dirty and once they cleaned that the problem went away however they found Multiple issues. Over 1500 dollars to fix it was a lot but we have to have a reliable vehicle. Fast forward to the day after we got the vehicle fixed we noticed it was missing a little when we slowed down or in park. A couple weeks later the car stopped while behind another vehicle on a busy road. The thing I brought it in for was NEVER fixed. So now more than 500.00 more they want to fix something that was supposed to be fixed. Unbelievable. Yesterday I asked the mechanic if it would cost me something and today they called back and told me a different story. I went by good reviews. Never again. I feel scammed.

9/9/17. My daughter trying to decide to leave Tampa got some bad gas and is broke down. I called from Pensacola Fl. and Pernell answered and said he would go see what he can do. I pray for him and my daughter. Time is running out. I wait to hear from him. I pray he can get her car running.

I searched everywhere to find someone I could trust. Tons of questions and costs for things to be repaired or replaced. All this was because of a prior visits to another place who just looked at it and told me it needed a new transmission. When I finally contacted Engines and Transmission I felt by just talking to them I was at the place I needed to be. They took the time to answer questions, they picked up my vehicle, they called me at different steps to inform me of what they found. I went from thinking that I was going to have to replace/rebuild my transmission to items that were done in a much faster time and what was really needed. Living on a budget and worried about the cost...........I can not thank them enough for being so helpful, kind and considerate. I will return for checkups on a vehicle I had only had for 5 months and knew nothing about - but now I do. To everyone at Engines and Transmission but especially Ashley, Kate and Jason.. My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.

The owner of CTC Transmission Chris was GREAT! He explained everything in "normal non-mechanical person" terms.His prices are a lot better then any other places I had called, and service was quick, and right on. My car rides better then ever now! I'd recommend CTC to anyone, you WON'T be disappointed.

When my local discount auto parts store was unable to install their replacement battery in my 2012 Focus, when I asked for a recommendation. Without hesitation they recommended Brothers, touting their honesty, fairness and comoetency. Such a reasonable charge and quick service, I honestly gave them a tip! Just week's later, faced with the 2009Ford Flex AC not working and bizarre behavior before a trip to see family. I was able to find a 3rd party part I suspected was the likely culprit. Ford would have marked it up and it likely would have cost me 2 to 3 times as much. I got the part overnight and to Brothers by noon. By closing time it was fixed and ready for pick up. Read the reviews on Google, I just did. And liked most of them. Any less than stellar review was rare and in my opinion unwarranted. Brothers is aptly named. Although they could easily be called Friends or Family, as it was a joy meeting 3 generations of family. Owner. Son and 6 year okd grandson., I found out just before leaving.

Do not go here they will change prices, try to get you to pay over the quoted price to correct their shoddy work. I was quoted $220 to put in 2 Catalytic Converters in a 2010 Supercharged Range Rover sport. I ordered my genuine parts from the Land Rover dealership once my parts arrived I scheduled the installation for the next day. When I brought the vehicle in the shop owner offered to source the parts. I told him I’ve already purchased the parts from the dealership. He responded “that is fine” and they began to get started. I waited the estimated 2hr for work to be completed. I stepped out to get get lunch and I received a call from them saying they were having trouble fitting the catalytic converter’s to the manifold pipes. They said the fittings were not the same. I contacted the Land Rover dealership who confirmed the part numbers. They then told me they can take the system back down to correct the spacing and re-fit the catalytic converters for an additional $200 or they can cut the inlet off of the old catalytic converter and attach it to the new catalytic converter because they felt that would make it fit. Dealership advised against this saying altering a part would void the warranty. I asked them to put the vehicle back together that it’s probably best I go to another shop. 5 min late I got my truck back went to leave and it stalled out multiple times. I pulled over and viewed the catalytic converters fittings, both were left completely loose with a 1 in gap. The check engine light, restricted performance light, and low battery light are now on and the truck barely runs. When I returned they kicked me out and refused service after telling me I bought “eBay parts” They also refused to refund payment although they never completed the job properly. I had the vehicle towed to another repair facility immediately. I would stay far away from here if you value your vehicle.

Did an excellent paint job and checked other parts of the car. This is a Father and son business with over 30 years of ASE certified experience. To Ashley Butler of 410 S.Dale Maybry ICE COLD AIR discount auto repair shop. I would just like to say how well she runs her bussiness and cares about her customers. I had a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with a blown motor so I purchased one from a company that sells used motors and had Ice Cold Air do the installation,The can very goord for a month and then a feantw minnor problems occ likelyured, like an antifreeze leak which Ice Cold Air attemped to fix each time I had the car brought back. Then I had an oil leak which was most likely coming from the rear main seal which meant dropping the transmission which is a big job. So the reason I am writting this retraction is because I bad mouth her shop about not fixing the leaks when the car was brought back which ICE COLD AIR did every time the car was brought back and the oil leak I can ubderstand 10 hours of labor which the manager said if it's the rear main seal he would reimburst me for the labor. When my x-wife brought the car back to ICA cause she saw oil and antifreeze kind of leaking together and the manager tells her she needs to leave the car or it might cause more problems, you leave the car and not say I can't cause I need itthen;s your on your own if something like over heating occures and the motor seizes then it's notthe fault of the repair shop it's your fault. See I didn't know my X bruoght the car back for that problem and she was afraid to call and tell me this or my son and le Coldet my son drive 40 miles the next day I would of told her to leave the car right there and this never would of happened. Had great experience with Guys automotive. They found the best engine for my Escalade , Guy personally drove me to work and four days later came back to pick me up, my vehicle has never ran better, Pat Jose and Guy were the greatest, I am recommending Guys automotive to all my family and friends, best repair facility I have been too in Tampa

As a as a former Marine honoring integrity is what us boys stand for! Without being said the two business owners and son are not in this for the money they're in this to help people that's who they are they all have honor and integrity. Pep Boys gave me an estimate to fix the front end in the same manner that one stop gave me an estimate for, Pep Boys estimate 738 dollars one stops estimate 166 dollars. Just to let you know I'm a mechanic and I used to own the shop before I became disabled, I also live in Land O Lakes and I won't bring my car anywhere else and Land O'Lakes is about 30 miles away

My car started overheating and I googled the nearest shop . I took my car to them and it was just a radiator Hose that got busted. They replaced it in no time and within the hour I was on my way to work , this is great shop

I had my fuel pump rebuilt last May 2011 and brought it back 2 times because it did not run long would shut off and we could not get it restarted over and over again. I had the fuel inj's done as well, then this June 2012 it faild once again, they would not fix it with out charging me once again!! I spent over $1200 dollars the first time the 2nd time back they said nothing was wrong with it, the third time back I was charged over $400. and then 6 mo later my pump went bad and one inj was shot... They said it would not cost less then $800. to start.!! I sent the pump and inj to Willams Diesel in Ocala Fl and the job they did was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! the pump looked like it came off the shelf brand new!! wow ,,, I would never of thought it was mine it looked brand new.... and a good price as well.!! The people at Willams said that it didnt look like anything was done in it it look so bad !

Company refuses to honor it's warranty. Their mechanic improperly installed a transmission and they charged to fix his errors. I recently brought in a friend's Nissan Altima to have the transmission replaced and had it charged to my AAMCO Credit Card account. After picking the picking up the auto, the starter made a grinding noise when attempting to start the vehicle. Believing this to be a separate problem I took it to my regular mechanic. He stated that the problem was the screw in the transmission mounting was improperly installed and was causing damage to the starter. We had the car towed to their shop. The manager "Charlie" informed us that since another mechanic looked at the vehicle they would not honor the warranty. This is unacceptable because without having a third party inspect the vehicle how would they be found at fault. It is all around bad business to allow your employees to perform substandard work, and even worse practice not to fix the problem when it does occur.I currently have an open complaint with the better business bureau about the matter.

After keeping my truck 2 weeks longer than they were suppose to, the owner lying to us over and over (He's waited on parts for over a week, then he told us that he got the parts in one day, being told it would be finished next Thursday, then next Thursday, next Monday or Tuesday, then they called and said it's done on Tuesday but still running rough like when i brought it There, was told i needed a ecm (which i purchased a used one and brought to them, they later said it didn't work and that mine was just a wiring problem down by the transfer case that they found and fixed....AFTER the engine was back in?!?!) They supposedly spent all day on Tuesday going over everything (i was in the parking lot for over an hour and no one was near my truck, They were just standing around and then pretended to look at a vehicle that was just dropped off by a wrecker) then finally on Wednesday they said it's done. After i picked it up the service engine soon light came on about 20 miles later, the air doesn't work due to them ripping out and breaking a connector (prior to bringing my truck to these ripoffs, the air was PERFECT), the crankshaft sensor connector was also ripped out and broke BUT BARELY ZIP TIED BACK TOGETHER (so poorly that the zip tie came off...that's how we found out, it wouldn't start) and it's leaking fluid out of a line near the radiator. We called the owner and explained all of this only for him to say "well didn't They zip tie it?" SO HE KNEW THAT THEY BROKE THE CONNECTOR, ZIP TIED IT AND HE NEVER SAID A WORD TO US ABOUT IT!!! And he told us to call back on Monday. I have kids and this guy doesn't even care if we get stranded or anything. I Now have to replace over $200 in parts for their carelessness and negligence. They supposedly spent an entire day going over the work they had done but somehow missed the a/c connector that is broke and just hanging there (that my husband found in 2 minutes) and the leaking fluid?! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE!! THEY ARE AS SHADY AS THEY COME!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!! FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I PAID THEM TO FIX MY TRUCK, THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING!!
