As an owner of an S60-R Volvo, I like and need a certified professional to service my auto. After my discontent with the non-excellent customer service experience from my nearby Volvo dealer, I decided to try Davie Motors, and so glad that I did. Jeff who works the front desk scheduled my appointments at my convenience, advised me on the status of my auto & the cost of my repairs in a timely manner and with courtesy. Jeff was also attentive as I waited for my repairs to be completed. I was pleased that Doron, the DM owner, he had "hands on" with my auto and listened to my concerns with an unhurried patience and also attentive. And most important to me, they treated me with respect and equality by using all the mechanical words to describe the issues and explaining them too when requested. And considering that I am a woman, that is what I call great customer service. The cost of repairs is reasonable too for being a performance auto. My auto is running as expected, thanks to the auto care from Davie Motors! Thanks to Kip, Jeff & Doron! European cars are my passion therefore I am meticulous about my car. It took me over a year to find my Audi A6 4.2 quattro and I have up until this point done the work on my own car. I currently am working at a car dealership and have witnessed the absurd prices that “stealerships” charge for the most basic repairs and parts. The people at Davie Motors really are European Specialists. They let me store my car in the garage for almost 2 months! The fans for my car cost 1200 dollars I ordered salvaged fans and they turned out not to work. Davie Motors ended up being able to fix the brushes on my old fans so i wouldn't have to buy new ones thus saving me 1200 dollars. About a week later a hose blew on my power steering and Skip fixed it for free. I have taken used cars from the dealership here and referred multiple people. DAVIE MOTORS MAKES OWNING EUROPEAN CARS WORTH IT! This place is the best I wouldn't go anywhere else! REPAIRS COMPLETED: radiator, a/c condenser, a/c compressor, crankshaft seals, valve cover gaskets, radiator fan, auxiliary belt ECU update, transmission update, motor mount, not to mention radiator fluid, power steering fluid, oil change (Liqui Moly). Then they charged the whole system plus a vacuum test and dye-test.

Firestone repairs estimate of $2,600 (including $1,300 in parts). Googled up parts and found them available for a third the price at known auto parts stores. Ended up taking car to another shop where repairs were made at a total cost of $740 (parts and labor included). Such price gouging should be illegal.

I have a 2002 Toyota RAV4. Suddenly one day part of my exhaust system separated from the catalytic converter. I found Anthony on Mechanic Advisor and called for an appt. He said I could bring it right over for an estimate. He did not charge for the estimate. At first he thought it would need a new catalytic converter which he could get for much less than at the dealer but which was still very costly. I decided to leave it over night and rented a car through his connection with Enterprise. In the morning I called Anthony and was told the car was ready and the good news was that I had not needed a catalytic converter after all and the repairs would only cost about 1/3 of the original estimate. Very good news indeed. My SUV no longer makes noise and it runs great. His work also comes with a 12 month guarantee and I am extremely pleased to have found Anthony on Mechanic Advisor.

I recently came to Hoti Imports Auto Repair shop in dismay over my broken a/c. Upon my arrival I was already filled with disappointment and confusion on to why nobody could diagnose the a/c issue with my car. One shop quoted me over $800 to even take a look at her, another shop told me they couldn't figure out the problem and yet I owed them $300 for the time it took them to figure out that they didn't know what they were doing. There is a saying that the third time is always a charm, well in my case it was! People lack integrity in business and are only focused on making a profit instead of gaining loyal customers. Especially if you are a woman, the easier it seems for men at least, to take advantage of us. My point-in-case is this.. Hoti Imports Auto Repair not only fixed my a/c the same day I brought it in, they also didn't rip me off!! I wasn't charged for the time it took them to figure out the problem, nor was I charged an amount anywhere close to $800. I have gained an enormous amount of respect and trust for this shop, and this will be the ONLY place I take Blair (my cars name) to be worked on. If you are looking for a hard working and trust worthy place to take your cars, then Hoti Import Auto Repair is the place to do it! I have been using Best Price Auto for all my car repairs for about 5 years. I've found Tony to be knowledgeable and most importantly honest. I have an older car so sometimes parts are really hard to find. In those instances where I have located a part and provided it to him to install, it is always my understanding that he is only responsible for the labor. So in reading the one negative review of Best Price I would hold the vendor of the part responsible for the quality not the installer. Over the past 5 years I have had my air conditioning repaired, a new fuel tank sending unit installed, a new radiator installed, and today a new power brake booster installed. I've always been satisfied with both his work and prices. I highly recommend Best Price Auto. Michael, Delray Beach

I gave this guy my car to sell on consignment. He sold the car and kept the money. He also forged the title to my vehicle so he could sell it. He is lucky that he works out of Delray Beach as this city has a do nothing police department. Beware
