I purchased a buy here pay here car in Apopka and had Bob look at it. After I bought the car, I took it in and had all the diagnostics, tune up, flush, brakes and new tires. The car looks like new.

Our 2012 Chevy Cruze needed various things done. We had several recommendations for him so we called before going out of town for a week and dropped it off to pick up when we returned. He did all the work for a very reasonable price and it's been perfect ever since. We were very happy to find him.

I was overcharged and they did not fix the problem I brought it there for. Owner is very arrogant and does not care about customer satisfaction.

FORD OF CLERMONT service dept is run by crooks, liars and theives. I took my 2002 Tbird in for servicing as I needed a new battery and I also wanted to get my engine fan coolant reservoir flushed, drained and new fluid put in as I accidentally poured a few ounces of water in it by mistake. The service dept told me that the bearings in the engine fan were shot and that I need to replace the engine fan assembly as well as the coolant reservoir. Parts were $611 for the fan assembly and $122 for the coolant reservoir. Labor was quoted as $800 and they charged me a $90 diagnostic fee as well. I declined to have the fan assembly and coolant reservoir replaced but did have them install the battery which cost $114.99. I had a coupon from FORD for a battery for $84.99 but Ford of Clermont wouldn't honor it. So I paid $114.99 plus $90 for diagnostic tests. I took my tbird to Griffis Autos in Groveland to have them check it out. They did a full diagnostic test on the engine, fan, etc and also visually inspected the fan motor. They said there was no damage to the bearing, fan, motor, etc. They also drained the coolant reservoir as I requested, replaced fluid......total cost $70. I have driven car several hundred miles with no issues of overheating, etc. FORD OF CLERMONT LIED and tried to get me to purchase a fan assemby and reservoir and spend over $1500 on repairs I didn't need. LIARS and THIEVES. DO NOT take your car there....If you have a Ford or a Lincoln go to Griffis auto in Groveland. Honest, ethical and they have all the diagnostic equipment Ford has. The owner was head mechanic at Ford Of Clermont for over 20 yrs. I am in no way affiliated with Griffis but am so thankful to them for saving me a ton of money for repairs I didn't need. As far as Ford of Clermont goes, I will do my best to tell everyone to avoid them like the plague! Jim L. Clermont

I had a catalytic converter installed here a few weeks ago and it really has made a big difference in my cars performance and its gas mileage. Im glad I chose this place because they took the time to really see what was wrong and did not charge me to do that...thanks

THEY STOLE MY CAR......DO NOT TRUST THEM The Owner (Chris Hamblet) of this location owns a few "shops" in the areas, so be aware. Feb 20 on the way back to Georgia, my called stalled. I got an estimate from several places and chose this location because Mike quoted me a price of $1600 for a transmission. A week later, the price went up to $2100. I needed some time to get the money, so I asked Mike if it was a problem if I got some time to get the funds. I called about every week to check on my vehicle, no problem. Fast forward May 15, The car repair shop has gone out of business, no signs on the door, and no message on answering machine nothing. The police told us, and gave the realtor numbers who called the owner....who called us. The owner has been so rude, and unprofessional towards us, demanding now over $3,000 in lien, taxes, penalties etc. I was never called, I have my Sprint logs. I was never sent a certified letter. My car is registered to my address, which I have lived at for over 25 years. I paid car insurance these months, and they could have gotten my address from them since they are connected with Geico. I never recieved my 5% discount for going to their shop initially, I also spent 40 dollars in extra towing, The only reason I went to this shop is because of the $1,600 quote, I should have left it at Pepboys. The owner refuses to give his name, location of my car, and he screamed and hung up on me while we were talking. I am willing to pay what I owe, which is $2,100. I have now called the corporate office, contacted an attorney and spoke to the police about reporting the car stolen. I have no idea who this man is or where my vehicle is. I understand why his business failed, if this is how he conducts business.
