catalytic converter
I had a catalytic converter installed here a few weeks ago and it really has made a big difference in my cars performance and its gas mileage. Im glad I chose this place because they took the time to really see what was wrong and did not charge me to do that...thanks

car service
This visit here was a very positive experience. At first I was a little scared about the place because the waiting area is small and I don't like sitting next to other people getting their car repaired because its like being in the hospital waiting room when the doctor walks in ,, everyone jumps up. That being said I went to the Burger King next door and sat with a soda for a few then they called and said what was wrong and how much it would be, and before you know it I was on the road safe and sound again for over half of what someone else told me. transmission
This place put a transmission in my truck two years and 11 months ago and im in Utah and my transmission just failed 1 month before the warranty expired and they contacted the shop here and my truck was on the road in a day. This was really a great experience because usually I never get things to go smooth. Thank you

battery dying
We went here for a battery and the mechanic said the battery is fine but the rear reading light in the back seat is on causing a drain.... He really helped us and now we have told the kids to check every time they get out to make sure they are off as well as we do.

heat not working
This shop fixed my heat in fifteen minutes and it blows hotter than ever. I went to chrysler and they told me I needed a new heater core and with parts and labor it would cost $954, I said sorry but there is no wai I can afford that. we went here and they did what is called backflushing the heater and it works perfect. I also respect this shop for not bad mouthing the dealer by explaining to me that the dealer has to replace parts and really cant use cleaners or other things not manufactured by them. My gain this time and we are 100% satisfied.

tires
I went here to get new windshield wiper motor for my car and the service person said i didnt need the new motor, the reason it was moving so slow and hanging up was there was a film of sap or something on my window. He cleaned the window with a gross smelling liquid and the wipers worked perfect. To think I went here because they quoted me a lower price than someone else who said I needed the motor and I didnt even need it, although I did tip the man that cleaned the window for me,it was alot cheaper than $255.

tune up
My name is Lori and after seeing a mechanic advisor ad for this shop I went for a tune up. First of all the man that greeted me was extremely helpful before they even looked at my car as for what I should expect the price to be with the miles that were on the car. Turns out after they looked at it he said most of the tune up components had already been replaced and all I needed was a minor tune up. I learned the previous owner did a tune up before it was sold and I am so glad this shop was honest and saved me so much time and money. I will trust them as well as this site Mechanic Advisor. fuel filter replacement
My son on christmas day was working on our car trying to make it run better when all of a sudden it caught on fire! My husband rushed out of the house and helped put it out. My son was so upset because he was using tools he was given for christmas and was so excited he could do something for us on christmas. My husband was extremely upset at the whole incident and had the car towed here to this repair shop and he made the right choice. The whole problem was a defective fuel filter that had a crushed end that my son installed was what leaked. The owner named John explained that the fuel is under a tremendous amount of pressure and with any breech in the seal it can leak and in this case it sprayed on the hot exhaust manifold almost causing a catastrophe. All in all the damage was so minimal it cleaned up with soap and water and $49 later the car was fine, (YES $49) is all they charged to replace filter and even cleaned up the car underneath for us. Thank you guys for doing all that you did.

truck stalling bad
Last week my sister borrowed my suv to pickup a large gift for her son and the day after it would not run right. Long story short is these people looked at it for free and explained that the gas cap was left off and water got into the fuel causing the car to stall. The man explained we could put a chemical called dry gas in and it will fix the problem and it did. My sister said as a thank you she filled my gas tank and must have forgotten to replace the cap because it was raining and she was in a hurry and so forth. All is good now since adding the dry gas and we want to thank these people for being so honest and not charging us for the repair by just telling us to add a chemical. help on christmas eve
Just a thanks to this place for helping us out on christmas eve 2012. We were towed in sunday night without an appointtment and the owner who we spoke to on monday morning said that the problem was one of the pulleys in our belt system was bad causing the belt to come off and ultimately the car to die. They found the part and had it done in 1 1/2 hours for under $200. The owner was the one we spoke to and he asked one of his customers if they were in a hurry for thier car because we had to go to our relatives, no problem John they said. I will remember them saying that forever as we were on our way to N.C to be there for christmas. (god bless everyone there for a wonderful unseen gift).

brakes
We came here after we saw an ad saying brake sale and decided to see what it would cost to get them done. The gentleman who took our car to the back to check was polite and explained what our car needed but the price sounded high so we left. The following saturday we went to another shop for them to look at the brakes and they said the brakes would cost $300 more than Meineke said so my husband said lets go back to them. The shop we were at wanted $39 for looking at the brakes before they would let us leave and we paid it reluctantly and went back to Meineke. Luckily the gentleman remembered us and understood that we priced the brakes somewhere and were happy with the price he gave us. The work they performed was done in a timely manner and we have enjoyed a quiet driving and braking car since. Sincerely, David and Amy Curry

car overheating
After being told by a co-worker to go here for my overheating toyota camry i was very pleased with the service they provided and they really explained the problem i was having in terms i could understand. Being a woman i sometimes am a little weary about repair shops but the way i was treated really made me feel comfortable and the price was also very fair when my husband found out how much it costed.

vibrating problem
we had gone here for tires because our car was vibrating bad and assumed the tires needed to be replaced//////////////////// Well the man came to us and said that the tires were fine but someone had been off road with the vehicle and mud was stuck on the inside of the wheel causing the tire to be out of balance.\\\\\\\\\He cleaned the wheel and drove it to test and sent us on our way after not charging a dime.(((((((((Great people, now for our son who was driving the car before us is in for a suprise. Brake service
I am writing this review to tell about a great experience I had here. First of all I called them while I was at another place where I got a quote for brakes and thought it was a little high, I spoke to a man that said yes that does seem like alot based on what your telling me the cars symptoms are and advised me to bring it in for a free estimate. On the following day i did and the same man I spoke to on the phone was the one who I met when I arrived, he took my keys and let the mechanic drive the car then check it out in the shop. To my suprise the mechnic came in and said the car needed front brakes and also rotors because they were ground from letting the brakes go to far. He quoted me a price that was hundreds lower than the other repair place and said I didnt need the other things. I am very grateful I found them and also a woman in the office waiting area highly recommended them while I was waiting. AAA++++

30.000 mile service
Hello, I visited this shop right before christmas and I have to say they really go the extra mile. I have a newer honda and was going to take it to honda for the 30.000 mile service and a friend told me to take it here.. They did the complete service and found a few thing that were wrong and were able to get honda to repair them and get me a loaner car, That has never happened before!!.. What a great place, oh and the service was $140 cheaper than honda... Thank you, Frank J

BEWARE!!!! They charge for work they do not do!
I brought my car here for an oil change about 2 months ago. A week after my oil was black. My husband checked the filter and it was never changed. I brought it back for a second time and put a mark on the filter with a Sharpie. I didn't say anything but just requested an oil change. Sure enough for the second time the filter was not changed! I'm done with this place and I'm out 2 oil changes now, not too mention the damage that could have been done to my car's engine from not changing the filter. My husband called to bring it to their attention and they said they would call us back. Nothing yet.

Meineke in longwood is my new repair facility. I used to always buy a new car when the warrante was up but with my finances these days it's not possible. I was always afraid of shops horror stories until a friend said take it to John at meineke, so I did and all the worrying was for nothing. What i thought was something so serious was a minor repair. THanks to all at Meineke

I went here after someone recommended them and had a great experience. They showed me the problem with my brakes, they did not try to sell me everything else and i was out in an hour. HIghly recommend
