I live in Clermont and needed my recently purchased 2007 GTI worked on so I called one of the local major dealerships and was told they did not work on Volkswagen. After asking for a recommendation I was told by the person on the other end of the line that in fact his really good friend owned his own repair shop and they worked exclusively on Volkswagens; the name of the company was called Jason's Bug Ranch. I tool the information and called to make an appointment; during that call they made the exception of accommodating me even though they usually don't do anything major on Saturdays. When I arrived there were Volkswagens everywhere and after speaking with Jason it was obvious he was an authority on the brand, how they operate, function and how they should be repaired. He shared with me that he does not believe in trying to scare customers into spending more on repairs than is necessary; he believes some repairs are more urgent than others and it's his job to educate his customers about the urgency or lack there of for each repair need and I find that refreshing. That approach significantly increases the chance that the customer will return to him when necessary because consumer trust is hard to earn. Jason spent 45 minutes working on my car and asked me to bring it back when he had more time to repair it correctly; he gave he an entire in depth diagnostic report of my car of which there were many and didn't charge me a dime; he trusted that I would return and I did. Jason and Nate know what they're talking about when it comes to VW and surprisingly very friendly and approachable. Since having my car repaired there it has been running like a champion especially considering the car has 204k miles; it runs like new, very strong, very fast! I will recommended Jason's Bug Ranch to anyone wanting to repair their Volkswagen.

Service writer ignorant - brought in truck for an oil change and the mechanic found a leaking brake line. The service writer, Doug, informs me that I have two choices (1) the truck can only leave the property by tow truck (2) they can fix it there. He hadn't even gone to the effort to get a price for the repair. I ask the obvious and he calculates the repair at $250. I now have no confidence in Doug and this Napa shop so I tell him I will have the truck picked up with a car dolly later in the day. He then proceeds to inform me that if I don't have it picked up by 2PM closing time the truck will be locked in the shop until Monday. Seriously!? I ask him for a copy of the Florida law that allows him to impound my truck. Doug replies. "I don't know." The adds, "Call the Sheriff and ask him when he gets here." At this point my head is spinning with confusion. To make a painfully long story short Doug makes several calls. A handwritten note on the oil change receipt states we agree to have the vehicle towed and must sign it. Now we are waiting for the the Sheriff to arrive and write a report. It turns out a deputy calls him back has a discussion about the issue and ultimately tells him not to call the Sheriff with an issue like this again. I took possession of the truck a short time later. I don't know about you folks but that was the most bass-ackwards situation I have ever encountered at an automotive service center.

This company, Big B's Automotive (Brian Shwenning) WILL RIP YOU OFF. I was completely conned by this "so called mechanic". Almost six months ago I had a car towed to him that he said he could fix "no problem". He needed money for parts, so like an idiot, I gave him 260.$ Then he disappeared for almost three months, I went to where he works during the day to see if I could find him there. I was told he was MIA and their phone was ringing off the hook with other people who were in the same situation as myself. When he finally contacted me, he told me someone had died, so he had to go out of town. I felt bad, and understood (I now think that was crap). My car was at his friends house because he needed help with it, and according to Brian, the other mechanic needed more money or he wouldn't work on it anymore. Again like an idiot, I gave him another 260.$ He kept telling me he couldn't find parts, so I started going to junk yards getting the parts, and driving them to him. Brian NEVER returns,or, answers calls. His phone is either broken, he cant call at that moment, his hands are dirty, etc etc etc, I have numerous texts with lame excuses. I copied a few of his actual texts on here for you to see (I forwarded them to my email, and copied and pasted them on here, that is why they are from T mobile). I bought and brought him another part going on four weeks ago, I have been trying to call him everyday since. No surprise he has not called, or answered once. I have since tracked down the car and talked to the gentleman who actually had been working on it. I do believe the other mechanic is a very nice, honest man, and he has done work on it, but, doesn't have much time to do so, and to no surprise, BRIAN HAS NOT GIVEN HIM ANY MONEY!!!!! The car is still not running, and when I texted Brian to tell him I needed to get the car back running or not, and that he knew six months ago, I bought the car with one mortgage payment, and gave him another mortg

New to the area and they really know what they're doing. The best mechanics I have done business with so far. Very very impressed and satisfied with all their work, will definitely be my go to guys from now on with everything!

Honest, fair price, and best of all work is done correct. Cant ask for much more from an auto repair shop in this area. I've been taking my car here for a few years now and have always been happy with my car after repair!

I have been trying to bring it back since day one. The timing chain and tubo is bad. Your people lied to BBB about the car. If you care about your company and your name fix this car.
