Firestone repairs estimate of $2,600 (including $1,300 in parts). Googled up parts and found them available for a third the price at known auto parts stores. Ended up taking car to another shop where repairs were made at a total cost of $740 (parts and labor included). Such price gouging should be illegal.

Wonderful service

European cars are my passion therefore I am meticulous about my car. It took me over a year to find my Audi A6 4.2 quattro and I have up until this point done the work on my own car. I currently am working at a car dealership and have witnessed the absurd prices that “stealerships” charge for the most basic repairs and parts. The people at Davie Motors really are European Specialists. They let me store my car in the garage for almost 2 months! The fans for my car cost 1200 dollars I ordered salvaged fans and they turned out not to work. Davie Motors ended up being able to fix the brushes on my old fans so i wouldn't have to buy new ones thus saving me 1200 dollars. About a week later a hose blew on my power steering and Skip fixed it for free. I have taken used cars from the dealership here and referred multiple people. DAVIE MOTORS MAKES OWNING EUROPEAN CARS WORTH IT! This place is the best I wouldn't go anywhere else! REPAIRS COMPLETED: radiator, a/c condenser, a/c compressor, crankshaft seals, valve cover gaskets, radiator fan, auxiliary belt ECU update, transmission update, motor mount, not to mention radiator fluid, power steering fluid, oil change (Liqui Moly). Then they charged the whole system plus a vacuum test and dye-test.

Wow! What a great shop! I needed some work done on my Audi and I didn't want to take it to the dealership, so I Googled shops in my area and The V Shop had nothing but great reviews. Now I see why. Roger and his team run a very clean shop. Professional. Knowledgable. Fair. My car went in for an ignition coil and came out with a full courtesy inspection and a small list of things that I was not aware of, but no pressure from them to "get these fixed right away" as a sales pitch to make more money. AND, my car was detailed when I came to pick it up! I mean detailed, not just washed. Tires shined, vacuumed...EVERYTHING! There are a lot of good wrenches in the world, but there are few who are also able to run an elite business. Angie runs one of the best businesses I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She does what she says she is going to do. The cars are well taken care of. She communicates well using text message, email, and follow up calls. I always felt like I knew what was going on, and that she cared about my business, and my car. I trust her with my Porsche now, and plan to trust her wth many more in the future.
