The oil plug fell out of my car while I was driving, and my engine needed to be rebuilt due to the damage that it sustained. Tim was the worst mechanic that I have ever worked with. He originally told me that it would take about a week and cost me around $2,500, and he ended up having my car for 5-6 weeks and charging me $3,800. I'm not blaming him for the increased cost and extra time, because I understand how those things go. However, when I started questioning some of his extra charges, like $800 for a machine shop that he allegedly had to take parts to, he refused to show me a receipt (which he is legally not obligated to do), and then got very defensive and started bullying me. I never said I wouldn't pay him, but he told me that I had to pay in either cash or a money order because he didn't trust that my check wouldn't bounce, even though I had already paid him over $2,000 in checks that cleared without a problem. He threatened to sue me several times and called me an immature child, all because I wanted to see a receipt for the machine shop. Before we started having our disagreements, Tim kept telling me how he appreciated my trust, and I now believe that he appreciated it so much because he saw it as an opportunity to take advantage of me. He even went so far as to ask me what my credit score was, and then propositioned me to co-sign a business loan with him. I thought that was extremely unprofessional. Personal problems aside, my car ran perfectly before Tim did work on it. Since I got it back, I have had problems with the transmission skipping, as well as with the electrical system. When I informed him of the transmission problem, he was defensive again and claimed that it had nothing to do with the work he did. I would never let Tim work on my car again, and I would advise everyone I know to avoid utilizing his services as well. I am very disappointed with this business and mechanic.

Do NOT allow this wannabe mechanic touch your vehicle! He failed to replace a bolt when repairing my control arms and tie rod ends. The car was making a grinding sound. I let Charles know what was going on. He blew me off. The car broke down and was towed to the nearest repair shop where I was informed of the missing bolt and the dangers I faced while driving the car. The control arms was NOT attached to the car, it weight of the car is what was initially holding it together. This fact also shredded the tow front tires, which weren’t yet 2 years old. I informed Charles immediately only to be met with a nasty attitude and yelling. He was offended that I even called him. He denied work done and the timeframe he did it. He lied and denied, then abruptly hung up. He’s not returning phone calls, text or any refund requests. I’ve recently learned he’s been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. It’s a strong belief that issues with Parkinson’s could’ve have played a huge factor in the missing bolt. Either he forgot to replace the bolt OR he possibly stripped the bolt, causing it to fall out, because he no longer has a steady hand. Unfortunately, for me, I’m out of money for having to pay someone else to correct his shoddy repair work.

I would not recommend using this company. They are unreliable and ignorant. First off they quoted me $179 for a new windshield and would be at my house at 6:30. The worker named Jason showed up at 8:15pm almost 3 hours after the quoted appointment. When they took my windshield off they cracked it even more so and put on a windshield that did not fit my car. He continued to curse in front of me and my family and was very disrespectful. Jason claimed they would come back the next morning with a new windshield free of charge, which was not the case. Saturday morning I got a phone call from someone else asking what kind of windshield I needed and said he would call back.. Never heard back from anyone. Saturday evening I was still without windshield and had to rent a car for the weekend, another $200 I wasn't expecting to pay. Sunday afternoon I got another call saying they would be able to replace windshield on Tuesday at the latest.. Now that it is Monday I proceed to call them, told me they would get back with me, 30 minutes later I get a call saying they are having trouble getting a windshield and now it will be $395 more than the first quote and I will have to pay for labor after they told me I wouldn't have to. If you like to be lied to, mistreated and have a ton of time on your hands this is the business for you. If you like reliable, respectful and trustworthy work I WOULD NOT recommend these people if they were the last windshield company on the planet. Sincerely, very aggravated, Lindsay Brown

This is an excellent auto shop! I was most amazed at how knowledgeable and genuine the owner of the shop is. My driver side window wouldn’t close after I lowered it down on late Tuesday night. I contacted Wright’s Car Care the following morning and I drove to his shop. Ate breakfast and walked through some of the stores nearby (great marketplace nearby), and I couldn’t believe my car was finished! I had another auto shop that would have charged me 250 more and the service would have been subpar in comparison to Wright’s. If you’re trying to decide which auto shop to go to, Wright’s Car Care is my recommendation.
