My wife's car had a nail in the front, passenger tire that we needed repaired ... I called Firestone on Fleur Drive to see if they could help us out ... I explained to them that we couldn't just "drop" the car off, that I'd have to wait there while they worked on it ... I was told "in that case" I should make an appointment, and that they could get me in at 1 PM the next day, sounded good, so I made the appointment, name, phone number, make & model, etc ... well, I showed up today, 20 minutes early for my "appointment" and was told that they were extremely busy, there were many other "ahead" of me, and that I'd have to wait at least 2 hours, probably more before they could "get to me" ... now, I didn't just walk in off the street (obviously what everybody in the waiting room had done), I had called a day in advance and made an appointment, but that didn't seem to matter or mean anything ... why would they not at least try to honor an appointment? ... I can understand them being busy, I could understand having to wait a bit longer until they finished a car and a bay opened up ... what I can't understand is why I automatically go to the back-of-the-line? ... it makes no sense whatsoever ... the kicker was when I was told "you're lucky I'm even letting you wait and squeezing you in" ... unbelievable ... I'm both retired and disabled, there is no way I could sit around on a plastic chair for 2-3 hours, that's exactly why I made an appointment! ... of course I left without them helping me, I strongly recommend not using this place if that's the way they do business and treat customers ... a terrible, disapointing experience, from now on I'll never even consider Firestone for any kind of repairs or tire purchases
