We are a independent shop that works with almost all insurance agencies. Rental cars are available at our shop through your preferred rental car provider. Although we are strictly a autobody repair facility we do mechanical work through our sister shop Scarsdale Auto Repair. This shop is strictly mechanical work and gasoline sales. This place is my heaven on earth. If i could give more stars i would. Weve had them work on our 2009 yukon denali, our 2012 chrystler 300, and our 1999 mitsubishi eclipse. The last job i brought them was a 1987 Chevrolet C20 pickup. The transmission needed a rebuild. They did it in under a week, and they even beefed it up for just 100 more bucks! It was smooth, down shifts were incredible, the whole shabang. Everytime i hear someones having a problem with a car we dont know how to fix, this facility is my first recomendation. These people are so great, ive called asking their opinions on a noise and instead of giving me the same old same old ever shop does, "well.... youll have to bring it in and well charge to look at it" theyve helped me over the phone asking to describe it. Ive even had the receptionist pull a guy from the garage for his opinion! The only bad thing i have to say is, ive called numerous times to set up an appointment and tbe problem gets fixed by itself or i fix it, then forget to call and say its a no go on the appointment, or i do call and i emd up canceling. I feel so bad every time i do it because they are really good people! Thats my fault not theirs though. I have a 1973 corvette that was recently involved in a rear end hit, as soon as the body shop finishes with the back, everything i need done to it will be going to Natiomal Pride. This shop is under different ownership since the earlier reviews I've been using them for everything from my alignments tires engine and emmisons repairs and atv engine work and motorcycle repair. I've had no problems and been very satisfied. The current owner has been very open and approachable when I had questions. And the costs have been easily 30% cheaper than other shops in the area. They are a neighborhood shop so no fancy uniforms or goldfish in the office or other things that compound overhead. Just old fashioned motor heads who fix it and honestly tell you what can what if money is tight.

My van was serviced here after noticing that my tire seemed flat. I arrived with no appointment and with two toddlers tagging along. Employees were very courteous and helpful. From my experience, they seemed honest and didn't try to push me to add services. My tires was repaired within an hour of arriving. Glad I found this gem! Melissa Carpenter

*the mechanic lies, and the store manager is very rude* I had a fuel filter replaced at Woodfield Schaumburg Firestone, and I asked the mechanic if he replaced the plastic clips that hold the lines in place. He said both clips were replaced with new clips. I got my car back and inspected it myself. One of the clips looked old. A couple days later I went to a different firestone and asked them to check it. They confirmed it was an old (original) clip, so they changed it for me real quick (nothing had to be taken apart, it was very easy). Everything was rechecked, and the car returned to me (no charge). I contacted the manager at the Schaumburg location to discuss my concerns about being lied to by his mechanic, and the manager became defensive and rude. I went to the Schaumburg store, and the manager would not even meet/talk with me. So I spoke to the only remaining mechanic at Schaumburg that I like/trust and explained everything to him... gave him the clip, and asked him to show it to the manager since he wouldn't talk to me. This whole experience was very upsetting. Me, my brother, parents, 1 neighbor, and any friends I referred to them in the past will not be going to the Schaumburg firestone anymore. All they had to do was tell me they reused a clip (not lie), or get a new clip (less than $1). They lost at least 5 customers for lying about a cheap plastic clip and of course the rude customer treatment. I was a customer for over 3 years. This was my 3rd and last bad experience with the Woodfield Schaumburg location. In my personal opinion, if you value your vehicle... do not go to this shop.
