Oil change service near Brooklyn Park, MN

Brought my truck in for an oil change, tire rotation, and to have a bolt tightened on my battery. During the appointment they told me my front and back alignment was "out of whack". I agreed to the fix. I was charged the full amount for everything, just short of $200, and was told everything was done. Except for only half the alignment was done, they stated they couldn't do the rear adjustment. Still charged me full price. I noticed they hadn't tightened the bolt, and after calling it to their attention they told me I didn't need it. When I got home I noticed they hadn't done the tire rotation either. I texted and was told that despite it being 2 years since I put the tires on without a rotation, it wasn't needed. Yet was charged for it. So end of the day, the only thing that was fully done that I asked and paid for was an oil change. At least I'm trusting that was done. For $200. I was told TGK owes me $10 for not doing the tire rotation. Disappointing response. Normally I love you guys, only bring my truck there because you've always been great. I've twice been asked to fill out a review for this appointment and this is the 2nd time I've expressed my disappointment with my appointment and no one seems to care. I had to make special arrangements for this appointment, that's on me due to my schedule, but it makes it more frustrating that it was so "messy". If a customer asks and pays for a service, they should get that service. If they don't need it or a business can't provide it, they shouldn't be charged for it.

I took my college students car to Lake Elmo repair for an oil change and a headlight being out. I told the tech that the headlamp was brand new (and retested in the other headlamp) and that the problem had to be in the wiring harness. The total charge was $165. It appears they simply replugged the light in. My student told me 2 days later the “oil change” alert was still on and that the headlight was out (again). I had him take the car back to Lake Elmo Repair and they told him he would need to bring it back with an appointment. I don’t think it is fair to expect us to have to come back according to their schedule when the problem was the poor workmanship of Lake Elmo Repair. Quoted $352.96 for an Evap Purge error as a "starting point" to solve the problem. Mechanic down the road said to go to O'Reilly to get the $30 part and do the 15 minute repair. Problem solved. Not happy with the attempted scam. I can see why Facebook forum says how bad this place is.

Car was there three times for a simple alignment. Ive beat my head against the wall enough over the incompetence. After first appointment the car was worse than when I brought it there. I could go into much more detail but it's not worth it. Complete waste of time and money. I'll gladly go somewhere else.!! ????

Never actually fixed the issues I was experiencing. It seemed as if they recommended something for an issue they really didn't know how to fix, didn't care to research, OR an approach of new brakes just cause it's easy money for them. Ive left them a voicemail and email to return my call to discuss, but they haven't returned my call.

A+ Service! Steve's Auto World MG started a Concierge service with my park n ride. I had them do an oil change. They picked my car up while I was at work. They texted me a detailed car report. Then they called to let me know I needed a tire rotation so I had them do that. I got back to the park n ride at the end of the day and there was my car in the same spot. The receipt was on my dash. They had washed my car AND vacuumed it out! I found a complimentary bottle of water and ice scraper in my cup holder. It is the little things that make a huge difference. This is the most dishonest mechanic around. If you are considering using them don't be fooled by their 5 star rating on their company page. They delete negative comments here and on facebook. They charge you for repairs that were never completed and then when you bring your car back, they charge you for more repairs. If you don't make the repairs they void the warranty. They have the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
