I took my car in for the $99 brake special at the end of July '14 to have my front brakes taken care of. I was told I had a seized caliper and that they should be replaced in pairs - an additional $485 and that my pads were worn unevenly 2 & 8mm (they hadn't gotten to the rotors or anything else yet). I told them I wanted to check to see if they were under warranty and it turns out they were, so I had them stop what they were doing and put it all back together. The service advisor was not happy about that. The next day, when the dealership was done with my car, they told me that there was nothing wrong with the calipers - nothing needed to be replaced in the first place and that calipers don't need to be replaced in pairs - unless you subscribe to the 'one went out, the other probably will too' theory - and that the wear measurements they gave on the pads were completely inaccurate. My takeaway from this place - they will gouge you for hundreds of dollars at the drop of a hat if you don't know anything about cars or don't think to question your warranty or get a second opinion. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
