I have used Windham Mobile for years, approaching 18 now, and keep coming back. Doug and his crew always do an excellent job working on three separate cars and one pickup over those years. I do my own oil changes and spark plug replacements, but more involved work like surpentine belts, tranny and radiator fluid changes and the occasional real problem with a vehicle, I leave to them knowing the work will be done well and at reasonable, not cheap, but reasonable rates. Sometimes, I ask for the old parts, and when I do, they are there for me to look at and keep if I want. I have never been disappointed. I am writing this review because I need to have my tires changed over to snows for the winter, looked their number up on the internet to give them a call, came across the reviews, and figured I should throw in my two cents. I highly recommend this place! I had an accident and front wheels alignment was not okay. The previous garage named as "certified" by insurance company, did not manage to fix ... took 1.5 months, a lot of money, frustration and wasted time. Yesterday, I had one of those very pleasant surprises. A pay it forward gesture on the part of Precision Import, an upscale foreign and domestic auto repair company. My Jag suffers from annoying engine fault light notice. Richard (Dick) and Patrick Horan could not fix it without the right diagnostic software BUT were kind enough to coach me on a couple of related car matters. I appreciated them sizing up the current problem without any expense and reviewing other pending matters about the car’s near term repair requirements. With a Jag they say you need to have two, one for the garage and one to drive while the other is in there. In any case, I have found Patrick and his team diligent and trustworthy on two occasions. Better still I was able to get some work done as they graciously let me use their board room and guest wireless. How many garages do you know of with a board room, wireless and the good sense to not nickel and dime you for exploratory stuff? I’ll be back.
