Transmission repair service near Antioch, TN

Well car was supposed to be done last week. It's Tuesday the following week and still not done. Apparently did not even start on it until 5 days after the parts where in! They won't even pick up the phone, so mystery time and day to when I actually get my car back. Also tried to charge me over three times what I could get the parts for. So basically had to order my own parts, drop them off, so they could get it done two weeks later. It's been one headache after another. Finally get a hold of them and they are mad at me for checking on it. They are also saying they have no idea when its going to be done. Seriously? Save yourself a lot of time and frustration.

Love this place. Brought my car to them after it broke down and they couldn't find the problem with my car. They didn't charge me for it. I brought them rice crispies for at least trying though. Thank you again guys! Heather J. Hermitage, TN

I HAD A VEHICLE THAT HAD BEEN CHECKED AT ANOTHER TRANSMISSION SHOP IN FRANKLIN AND AT THE DEALER AND BOTH HAD TOLD ME MY TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REBUILT OR REPLACED. I THEN TOOK IT TO MR. MAYS AT COLEMAN TAYLORS AND HE INSISTED ON CHECKING IT BEFORE GIVING ME A PRICE TO REBUILD IT. SINCE IT WAS A FREE CHECK, I AGREED THINKING HE WOULD JUST CALL ME BACK AND TELL ME THE SAME THING, IT NEEDED A REBUILD OR TO BE REPLACED. I WAS GOING TO LET THEM FIX IT BECAUSE A FRIEND RECOMMENDED THEM ALONG WITH MY REGULAR MECHANIC. BUT WHEN MR.MAYS CALLED BACK AND TOLD ME A SPEED SENSOR WAS BAD AND IT WOULD COST 86.00, I ALMOST FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR. I KNEW RIGHT THEN THAT I WOULD NEVER GO ANTWHERE ELSE FOR TRANSMISSION REPAIRS AS LONG AS I LIVE. HE COULD HAVE TOLD ME THE SAME THING THE OTHERS HAD AND MADE A LOT MORE MONEY BUT HE DID THE RIGHT THING AND I JUST DONT THINK MANY SHOPS DO THAT ANYMORE. KUDOS TO MR. I wont give them any single star... they diagnosed the A/C problem ($98), told me that they found the leakage and it need a part replacement (148), after that they confirmed you will be all good. When I went next day, I came to know that 1 more leakage was found which need to be fixed for $760.... I dint go with that and thought 1 leakage is fixed so there would be some improvement... but what I got was WORST, my A/C was working a bit earlier and was cooling little bit... but now its a furnace... even though its cold outside, simple A/C fan is also given me hot air.... WORST EVER experience.... Please dont go there.... find some other good shop.

I made the appointment, showed up to the place and no one was there... I waited thinking that they might have been running a bit late, then saw that there were no hours posted for Saturday. What a terrible waste of time.

This gets zero stars. First, they sell used tires that other reviews on google will tell you that the tires will blow after a day. I had 3 tires blow out onto the interstate and after less than a week had to pay to get firestone to look at them and tell me they were defective. This place will take your money and give you bad tires. The owner told my husband that it was his fault for buying used tires! This takes no accountability that they can sell a bad product while collecting a person's hard earned money! They took us for$160 and a week later I had to buy new ones elsewhere. My life was worth nothing to them(after3 different days of tires blowing on I-40). They have no refund policy and are crooks. Do yourself a favor and avoid these people!

Took a new to me 06 Sequoia to Ron because I was hearing noise from the rear end. Ron spent over half a hour driving and checking things. Typical road noise for that model. I tried to pay him for his time, but he wouldn't take any money! Said just to bring it back to him when I needed some work done. That I will surely do! Very nice and honest man to deal with.
