Ron's Automotive has been performing quality auto repairs in Gallatin, Tennessee since 1991. We have a simple philosophy that has kept us in business for over 21 years. We listen to our customers, treat them with respect, diagnose what their problem is, fix the problem, and do it all for a fair price. Ron is a Former Ford Service Manger so of course we fix Fords. Ron raced a Chevy Nova successfully at Union Hill Raceway successfully for the last 21 years earning himself the nickname "The Professor". We certainly fix Chevrolet products. One of Ron's first cars was a Chrysler and Ron has been repairing Chrysler products since then. Ron has been repairing Toyotas, Nissans, and Mazdas and other Asian cars for as long as they have been imported into the US. We can certainly repair imported cars. Ron has been buying scanners since on board diagnostic systems came into production. It would be hard to find anyone anywhere who is more knowledgeable about modern automotive computer systems and their diagnostic systems.

Rear noise check
Took a new to me 06 Sequoia to Ron because I was hearing noise from the rear end. Ron spent over half a hour driving and checking things. Typical road noise for that model. I tried to pay him for his time, but he wouldn't take any money! Said just to bring it back to him when I needed some work done. That I will surely do! Very nice and honest man to deal with.

Air conditioner repair
I went to Ron's Automotive last month after it started to get hot outside. My AC worked good last year but with the winter over it was not cold when I turned it on. Ron had his boys look the car over and found dye that he had put in a few years ago leaking from the compressor. He had me look at the leak with special yellow glasses so I could clearly see the leak. Ron gave me a reasonable price and told me I needed to flush the system and replace the filters when he opened the system. Everything was taken care of quickly and the price was actually less than he quoted me. He told me he usually adds a small percentage to each price like 5 or 10% to each bill in case he runs into problems. My job went smoothly so he took this amount back out. Good, honest mechanic shops are hard to find. i will be back.
