Rarely have I ever so vehemently despised a shop or considered them to be complete crooks. But that is what they are. STAY AWAY FROM NATIONAL TRANSMISSIONS. I was fortunate enough to not get my money taken by them. Others haven't been as fortunate. I went there needing a new clutch plate with their "free tow, free estimate" coupon. Once my car was there, they wanted to charge me $50 for the estimate. I said they had said free estimate. They said, "Oh that was only for the clutch hydrolics. Now we have to go into the clutch assembly, so it'll be $50." I said never mind, just return my car. They said, "OK, we'll waive the $50 and do the estimate for free." I said no thanks, not going to do business with you. Just return my car (they had said free towing both ways). They said, "OK, you have to come in a sign a paper before we can return your car." I said, how can I get in there to sign a paper when you have my car? Just give it to the two truck driver, and I'll sign it with him. They said no, so I had to borrow someone's car to go in there to get my car back. Was happy that was all I suffered. Reading these other reviews confirmed what I experienced with them. I also ran into someone who went there with his friend, and his friend ended up spending $2000 there for something that he was sure that they broke while they were looking at something else. Should have cost his friend a few hundred dollars, but it ended up costing him $2000. *****STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS*****

Took my car there and they were unable to even diagnose the problem after having the car for 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks they had the car, I called numerous times to check on the progress. Was told they were doing "tests" and was told the mechanic would call me later. Never received any calls. Decided to take the car to another shop and when I went to move the car, the mechanic told me he would move it for me the next morning. At lunchtime, a friend called me to tell me they still hadn't moved the car. When I called them, April told me to come move it myself. I informed her that I had been there the previous day to move it and the mechanic said he would get it moved for me. The shop the car was moved to had the problem diagnosed within a couple of hours.

Do Not Go Here!!!! I went in after having my car diagnosed with the dealership and one other shop. I was just looking for an estimate as I was calling local shops. I needed an evaporator core for the air conditioner. Aamco would not give me an estimate. Said they had to see the car and that they had a special machine that could detect the coolant leak. I was desparate not to have to pay the $1500 the dealership wanted so agreed to let them look at it. They said it needed two new valves for $300. Great, Right! Yes, until the next day when there was no air conditioning again. I called them back and now they said it would cost as much as the dealership's discounted rate to fix the car but they would do me a favor and take a cut on labor to get it down to $975 for me. Wow, their cut was higher than any other local shop except the dealership. So now I have to pay to get the part fixed that I needed fixed and this shop scammed me out of an additional $300 on top of that. Do Not Go Here! They want to look like they are doing you a favor and saving you money but in the end they are going to get your money.

Scott & the rest of the employees at this shop give excellent service. I had to get my front brakes done a month or 2 ago & they were able to provide an affordable price for me to get them done as well as have the work done while I was at work in about an hour's time. Not only was it done conveniently fast, it was done right. Then about 2 weeks ago my car was vandalized leaving both of my passenger side windows shattered. Again I had the repairs done at FT Auto & not only saved myself some struggle as well as money on the glass replacement but also recieved the same great timely service again. If there are any repairs you are needing done to your car- the right & affordable way- then look no further.

I have been going to this shop for about 10 years, my family uses them as well. Smoke was coming out of my sun roof and my electrical was not working inside of the car. My seats wouldn't move so i could not reach the pedals. My car is considered a luxury vehicle so the dealership would have charged me 4x's what Munoz charged me. He diagnosed my problem, i had an electrical shortage. I will definately continue to use this shop for any future problems. My Infiniti has always been looked at by Mr. Munoz and his staff and I trust them. I am not sure what the gentleman above is talking about, Mr. Munoz has 30+ years of experience. Thank You!

WORST PLACE EVER!!!! Collinsworth is the worst shop in Garland. Went in to get an alignment and Greg the owner tells us it was unsuccessful due to the wheel bearings needing to be fixed. He then says he can not do the alignment until that is fixed but we need to pay the full amount of the the alignment. So we paid for a service that was not done. As I was talking to him asking for a refund, he missed a phone call and tells me “you see, I just lost another customer because of this issue, bottom line you will not get your money back”. He was so unprofessional and just plain mean. He wanted to charge over $750 to fix the wheel bearings when a shop down the street agreed to do it for $450 (alignment included) I definitely will not go back there and advice anyone looking for a place to fix your car DO NOT GO TO COLLINSWORTH on Saturn and Cranford (Garland, TX). In my opinion they are thieves!!!!

I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease. I just had my BMW 750LI taken for diagnosis to Bimmer Repair. Its owner Jose is a young guy but very honest - which is a rare to find quality in auto repair work. My car was giving me a transmission failure message - he checked it , cleared all faults , and found nothing wrong with the system . Thoguh the car is still under monitoring to see if the issue comes back - Jose's upfront honesty is what touched me. I wish his great success in his newly started venture and he has got a customer in me for life!

Dave and the guys there always service all of my 6 vehicles from new daily vehicles to several classic muscle cars. They are honest, locally owned and fair priced. There is a one star rating on here that references a completely different shop so ignore the rating for Dallas Car Care, but read it to know where not to go. THESE GUYS ARE HARD TO BEAT. 100% recommend them.

My car was shaking terribly and firestone quoted me like $1200 for "engine repair". I took it to Manny at us auto and they pretty quickly saw that a vaccum line was out and fixed it in like 15 minutes. He didn't even charge me. He could have taken advantage of me but he didn't. Straight up honest.

I have the worst ever experience on my life sending my car to fix the transmission to emerald transmission on empire central they supposedly did a full rebuild on my transmission but since the first day I pick up my car after they fix it coincidence I saw a guy getting inside my vehicle which I never seen it before I thought it was a random guy trying to see my car and I approached him and ask him if he was the owner of the vehicle , pretty cool car and he didn't answer he just said he was going to do a burnout so I asked him if I can go and i just open the door and got inside passenger side and when he was getting out of the parking lot i told hem straight away that I was the owner of the vehicle and I asked him who he was and he said my name is Martin I'm the owner of the business Emerald transmission so when I call Jorge the manager to verify that information he confirmed Martine was the owner and told me the car is not supposed to be driving because it wasn't ready then after I hang up the phone I notice and other thing, my dashboard was damage missing like 3 little pices and the floor mats damaged like made by small animal chewing like they left my car open overnight I guess after we find out about that one the owner just walk away and disappear without saying any word so I talked to Jorge and he don't want to take responsibility he said he has no control of the rats . The second issue was that the vehicle it it was supposed to be fixed already and a big vibration and RPM discrepancy while driving so I took it back and the manager Jorge told me to keep driving it like that t'll get better after two months I took the car back because it went to a limp mode it was there for like a week and everytime I go to see if my car is ready the manager wasn't there even after I've been told to meet there so I tried to talk to the two employees that fix my transmission about the situation on my vehicle because they repaired it (the mechanic) and they don't want to tell me what they did to my transmission exactly, so I took the car and the same problem vibration and the RPMs variation while you driving so I took the car back to the shop like three times and they didn't done anyting it was just sitting there and every time I call I've been lie by the manager Jorge even the last time I picked it up my best guess is that they park it under some other car that it was on a lift and that car was leaking oil so my car was covered on dust and oil and they don't even hesitate to clean it up a little bit all this kind of situation say a lot about this business. Totally won't recommend anybody to fix their transmission there me personally I have a really bad experience my car still have transmission problems and im going to have to fix it again even jorge the manager know that the transmission repair they done to my vehicle still under warranty till this day, he dont want to take liability on nothing last time I talked to him he told me he don't want to take responsibility and he hang up on me. He even told me they going to move the shop to other place ! My situation I have no solution at all if you go there to fix your transmission is on your own risk !
