Alternator and starter repair service near Layton, UT

Took car in to get looked at. Egan told me it needed a radiator and brake flush. Took it in and 3 days and $200 later the work was done. As I left the brakes felt squishy. Took it back the next day and said it felt like the brakes needed to be bled. Left the car and they said they bled them. Felt the same. There was still air in the brake line. Either they don't know how to bleed brakes or they didn't bother trying and just gave me lip service. My father, who isn't a mechanic, showed me how to bleed the brakes and when he was done the softness was gone. He told me it was good lesson on how finding a good honest mechanic is difficult. For $200 I shouldn't have to be doing work to get things to, well, work right. 2 stars for the fluid I guess.

While I was there Newsmax was playing in the waiting room. I will not patronize a company who believes in lies that threaten our democracy and I will not return. Makes me sad because it's a great company. Cancel culture? Call it what you will but I decide where I spend my money.

Even though this is a Truck and Trailer Repair Company, Justin will take on even the smallest of requests. We have taken him several parts from a bike cart (made with different types of metal) over the years and he welds them and has rebuilt them so that they can better fit our needs. He understands exactly what my needs are without even having the bike cart there to show him. And he is fast. He usually has my things done by the next day. The quality of his work is excellent. On October 26th I came in to pick up a project and coincidentally needed a leg of of a late 1800's wood burning stove welded. It had broken in half. Justin welded it for me in about 5 minutes. And he did it without ruining the design that had been carved into it when it was made over 100 years ago. Justin is very pleasant and professional too. I highly recommend him.

This guy is a joke he completely screwed my truck up cut my alarm system up and out of my truck messed my brake lights up now I can't even drive it I had to trailer it home from Clinton to Tooele he told me when I asked after he had my truck for 2 months to com tow it and get it out of my life the only thing he did in two months was screw my truck up and put a starter and battery in it what a joke not only that he charged 2600 for a jaguar you can't even use what he supposedly fixed. Mario was so helpful when my car broke down in Ogden while my son was driving. I really appreciated his recommendation of a very reliable and honest towing company. He didn't charge me a thing for checking it out. I determined that the repair would be more than the car was worth. He allowed me to leave the car there for another day while I contacted a scrapping company to haul it away. I appreciated how helpful he was I took care of the problem at a distance. It is always scary to have a break down away from home -- so I especially appreciate how well I was treated while taking care of this crisis. I also appreciate MechanicAdvisor for helping me find their shop.

I found Aatopia on a google search for auto body shops in Logan. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! I was rear ended and they walked me through the process of how to work with insurance and gave me really good advice on how to work with the guy who rear ended me. It ended up that the rear-ended worked with Aatopia directly and I didn’t have to be an intermediary which was ideal. I also had some auto body work (dented tail gate, cracked brake light). I got quotes from a few other places for those issues and Aatopia had competitive pricing. They took the time to clearly show me what they were going to do. We looked at other dents and they quoted me a price, but told me that they if it was their car they probably wouldn’t make those expensive and unnecessary repairs. They also found a crack in my windshield and worked with my insurance so that I only had to pay $50 to replace it! THE BEST PART: I live in Logan but was going out of town so I dropped my car off at the Ogden location and they drove me to the front runner station! Then while I was gone they shuttled it back to Logan for me (for free)! When I got back to Logan they picked me up. I am thrilled with this level of customer care. I will be back!! Dirve a BMW 525i - 2005 about 105K miles. just had my transmission serviced 01/20 (fluid replced etc. 0serviced by these guys, the owner not only had me in his office to get a quote on the price , needed 9 liters. BMW quoted 48 bucks/liter, he gave me a 20 % discount on the total price. I also had a few warning lights, that needed to be looked at, he brought me into the back plugged his computer , and showed me everything that came up. Reset a few minor lights, and no charge for that, Dealership ususally charges 85.00 to reset lights. Very good service, and I would definatelly do business again with them

Amazing, honest and incredible work! I went in for a brake inspection and an oil change and upon completion they told me exactly what was wrong with my brakes, what it would cost to fix it, what the warranty would be and how long it would take. Having no coupons in hand I was planning on paying the full price for the services. Keith stepped in and told me that he would give me the coupon price for the services rendered and took care of the inspection charge cutting my bill by 3/4! I would very much recommend this place to anyone looking for good, quality, honest and reliable automotive work. -Kyle

!IF YOU ARE A YOUNG WOMAN DO NOT GO HERE, THE OWNER WILL OVER CHARGE YOU, DEGRADE YOU AND HUMILIATE YOU!! HE WILL THEN ASK IF YOURE “DADDY CAN PAY THE OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT OF STUFF THEY DID TO YOUR CAR WITHOUT PERMISSION SINCE YOU REFUSED AND NEVER AGREED. I was at this shop yesterday for a simple smoke test to find out what was wrong with my car, we agreed on a smoke test only, I left my car for a few hours to get a call back that the owner of the shop “went ahead “ and fixed a bunch of stuff we didn’t even go over, he then continued to go in about how I had to pay for the gas because he DROVE MY CAR TO GET PARTS I DIDNT APPROVE OR EVEN AWARE I NEEDED. He was very unprofessional and when I said we didn’t agree on that and why he didn’t call me he said that he did it out of his goodwill just to fix it and I had to pay the bill I had no idea of, a simple 100$ smoke test went up too over 600-700$ in labor and repairs. He then degraded me and humiliated me by shoving his finger in my face and telling me I am not speak until he does. This is an old man talking to a 25 years old woman, he swore and stated that he never wants to see me or my “fucking car “ agian. I had to have my dad come in and help me due to the disrespect and this man making me cry and feeling cornered and helpless. IF MY DAD WOULDNT HAVE COME IN THIS MAN WOULD HAVE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME TO THE POINT I WAS SO CLOSE TO CALLING THE COPS. This man then told me to step out of the room so him and my dad could talk even though I was the paying customer , he degraded me and made me feel like as a woman I had no power, and I needed my “dad” and at that point no 25 year old woman should have to call her dad crying over a man degrading and humiliating and “shhsing “ his grown daughter over trying to figure out a payment plan. He agrees to 300$ all I had at the time and I said that’s fine but I will be letting other young woman know that you take advantage and he continued to say “I will just raise the price agian” I honestly do t know why I didn’t call the cops on this disgusting crook This man is a terrible man and if you’re reading this review I hope you know I will be getting other people to leave reviews. You should not be in business and you need some mental help on top of that, you are a disgusting human being.
