Hall's Tire & Auto did an excellent job. I suffered a flat and had been waiting to get new brake pads. Hall's fixed both for me, no appointment needed, in just a couple of hours. The reviews on Yelp were spot on - excellent customer service, quick repair, established business in place for 66 years. If you need repair work, I recommend Hall's.

Poor installation caused wheelbearing to go bad within 6 months. Took 5 days to finish the job. Broke ABS sensor, tried to fix it by keeping the vehicle for 4 more days. Still not fixed as I am now driving with ABS lights on. Now the wheelbearing failing again!! I have driven the vehicle roughly around 3000-4000 miles mostly highway mileage. I am being told parts could malfunction, does this mean they put low quality parts and charge me an arm and leg for it.

This dirtbag Mike Morris ripped me off by selling me a car with several thousand dollars worth of repairs needed to get it roadworthy. He told me when he sold it to me he had "Fixed it up." He's apretty good liar and it's obvious he does it a lot. He misrepresented the car sale to me and within two weeks it was undrivable. I had to junk it. If you don't want someone stealing your money then I suggest leaving these jerks alone, they will rip you off and not blink an eye.

Meineke Car Care Center

We brought our 2001 Acura to this shop back in September. We were on our way to DC from Raleigh, NC when our car started to run a little rough. We took it here because it was right off the highway and wanted someone to look at the car before we went on our way. We had to leave the car there because we had an appointment in DC., and it wasn't fixed. We received a call that evening saying that we needed a tune up, 2 ignition coil packs, and a recommendation to do each coil pack for approximately $900. We decided to only have the 2 that were broken repaired for a total of $524.89. The next day, they called and said the car was running beautifully. We made it back to Raleigh, where 3 days later, the car stopped running. We took it to an actual Acura mechanic, where we found out that the spark plug port on the head of the engine was stripped by the meineke mechanic. Now, we needed a new head to the engine. We called Meineke. They said to fax estimates. We did. We waited and waited and waited some more. We heard nothing. We left 7 voicemails with the owner of the shop and heard nothing. We filed a complaint with the better business bureau and Meineke Corporate. This is where the story gets interesting. Meineke management weaved a web of complete and utter lies to the better business bureau and Meineke Management all while still refusing to contact us. This shop is owned by rude and disrespectful people who will only rip you off. Needless to say, VISA sided with us and the money we paid to Meineke was placed back in our account. Do NOT take your car to the Meinke on Parham Road in Richmond, VA.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I bought 4 tires for $500 and thy apart halfway through the warranty period. The manager refused to honor the warranty because he said they had tread life remaining. I read the warranty to him concerning the "prorated" reimbursement due to defects. He said he could see the defects but couldn't process a refund because the computer wouldn't accept it because there was still tread remaining. So I asked if I needed to bring them in bald for him to honor the warranty and he said they would have to be 2/32nds deep. That's not even passable by State Inspection standards I told him and he said, "that's our policy". Buyer beware.

Yet another vehicle repair location you can't trust. Call for a price quote for two new rear breaks. Was told $158. Sounded good, so I made an appointment. When I came in the price raised to $256. Then they came back to say the front breaks needed to be repaired also. Unless in two days my front breaks went from ok to bad they are just trying to get money out of me. Another shop I actually trust had said the front breaks were ok but the back needed to be replaced. After I told her no, just replace the back ones she said "fine, wreck your front wheels". She walks out of the waiting room, the door doesn't even close and she comes back and says something about the rooters on the back also needed to be replaced. And she wouldn't let me drive out of here with rooters like that. And that would cost an additional > $100. So what was supposed to cost $158 is now going to be over $380. And they are pushing for over $620 This place is shady. You can NOT trust them.
