This shop was awsome. Very fairly priced staff was awsome. My brakes became super soft and going to the floor and I called they were quick to get me in showed me what was wrong gave me a fair price and then took me home so I could get my kid off the school bus. The owner was super helpful and I was amazed at how professional and courteous everyone in the shop was. This is now my shop for all my repairs in the future I will never go anywhere else. I have had several of my vehicles in fro service over the past 8 months at Ocean Air, and I cannot say enough about how awesome these guys are. My 2005 GMC truck had the weirdest random problems that eluded several other shops in town, including a dealer, who gave me a large quote for something they weren't sure or right about. The guys at Ocean Air did a great job at a great price.

While on vacation in Sandbridge, we developed car trouble, the cooling fan clutch on our car needed replaced. I was directed to Pungo Service Center by an employee at the realty company that we were renting a vacation house from. I arrived at the garage on a Thursday afternoon (6/13/2013), I was leaving on Saturday, it was quite a bind to be in when on vacation and not familiar with the area. The owner of the garage, Buddy, told me that he could fix my car by noon the following day. Not only was it repaired when he said it would be, but it was done at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Pungo Service Center to anyone that needs a car repair in the Sandbridge area. I took my older vehicle here for a tune up. The front counter person made me uncomfortable from the start by being so promising of how well they will perform the job, as he stated the price. Normally, mechanics would like to take a look first. I was aware of a humming noise coming from the air filter section of the engine, but thought it would be corrected during the tune up. Once I was given a job status call with recommended services, the noise was not mentioned. But at pick up time, the counter person brings up the noise and a quick fix deal if I bring it back. (Half Labor Charge). I took it back. At pick up, he charged $125.00 for 1 hour labor which would be $250.00 an hour. I just paid! Over the next 2 days, the engine was stalling, riving up on it's own and not idling properly, so I took it back. Automatically, he started talking of more charges. When I mentioned the overpayment I had already paid, he stated that I'm the one who agreed to pay it. I still have to get their work corrected.
