I had immediate help when my car wouldn't start. We ran up against a weekend and a holiday. However, they got the work done in a reasonable timeframe and one of the things we really appreciated was their communication with us. They took time to talk with us, explain the situation and also returned calls. Hockett and Olsen went above and beyond to help us. They have managed to keep our very old cars running. This shop was happy to help me with my breakdown- They were really too busy to replace my alternator that day- but they did not bother to tell me that until that nightwhen I was hoping to have my car back but instead was stranded. Then they overcharged me for the repair as well as added in a 20 dollar environmental fee even though they did not change any fluis or dispose of any used parts or tires. When I challenged them on the environmental fee- they explained that everyone gets charged that - I guess that is why they don't have to disclose it as part of the estimate. AVOID THIS BUSINESS! they are not honest and will take advantage of you- Cost 556 dollars to change a 200 dollar alternator.
