Transmission Flush
Really disappointing.. I drove 25 minutes while having my wife follow me to drop my car off at 8am when they opened to have a transmission flush. Monty me told that it would be done before the end of the day. I called twice throughout the day to check and was told that it would still be done. It got to be almost 6 o'clock and called again and Monty said that it would not be done today, So I had to drive all the way back there to pick my car up without it even being touched. When I pulled up the mechanics and Monty were all outside just conversing and smoking a cigarette. Shame on this place. I put off other things that I had planned that day to get my car fixed just to get the runaround.

Transmission Replaced
I had the transmission on my Suburban replaced by Aamco in November. The truck sat for almost two months not being driven. I live in Northern Arizona, and was in Phoenix on some business, when I noticed a puddle of ATF dripping from my truck. I called Wendell at Aamco and he told me to bring it right down. After checking the vehicle it was determined the driveshaft was bent. I was worried that since the driveshaft was not replaced in the original repair that the warranty would be voided. The new transmission was completely broken because the driveshaft was flopping around and broke the transmission case. Wendell, and the techs at Aamco replaced the transmission, installed a new driveshaft, and replaced all of the seals FREE OF CHARGE. Before I had the work done (originally) at Aamco I called around, and they were not the cheapest, but they did have the best warranty. I had them replace the front axles, ujoints, and service the differentials while they were at it. It was found that a ujoint failed, and caused the driveshaft to flex. They honored their warranty and then some. The repair was done quickly, and without hassle. It is a rarity to find honest people to do repairs, and warranties often are a false sense of security. Wendell and the guys are the exception, and they have earned the most sought after thing in any business....my trust, and repeat business.
