Albert Pardo established Southwest Diesel & Electrical Corp. in 1954. Fuel injection was, and still is, our main focus,with after-market service and parts distribution expanding as the business has. During the first year, Robert Bosch Corporation appointed Southwest Diesel & Electrical Corp. to be the first Central Distributor for Bosch diesel and electrical products. Two years later, in 1956, we began a relationship with STP and became key in its introduction and distribution into the automotive market.

In 1990, diesel vehicle and equipment repair was officially added. We have always helped customers having a problem with diagnostics or timing of injection pumps to engines. What we found increasingly obvious is that the old-timers that knew diesel inside and out were not as prevalent as they use to be. Our customers wanted a full service diesel repair shop, not just component service.
