This is my second time bringing my 2010 Toyota Camry for a trans fluid exchange . I like doing that a little more often than the book says as i feel it can't harm to be extra cautious as a transmission replacement is far more expensive . I feel so far a good job was done but the only thing I find is the impersonal feelings I get as I wanted to ask the Tech who did the job about the actual condition of the all synthetic fluid and when he test rode the car what was his thought on the shifting and general condition of the trans having 90 thousand miles on it now . I have a 25 plus year old car that I keep in good condition and I am guessing that its old school thinking with my Toyota that you bring in the car after a few days to have the fluid re-checked to make sure the level is where it needs to be . More Tech conversation would be nicer for the customer but i am guessing that if every customer wanted to ask the tech questions about there car then the Tech would get way behind in his work . I just wanted to mention that but feel they do good work for less than the price of a dealership .

Dan personally went above and beyond to deal with a breakdown I had with my Prius. My car became disabled literally across the street from Dan's shop (how lucky was that?!). It was after normal working hours, but I happened to catch Dan still at the shop, and he very willingly walked over to my car and spent time troubleshooting it on the spot. Turned out the coolant pump had gone out, causing a fuse to blow and the whole car to shut down. He replaced the fuse to get the car to activate long enough to get it over to the shop, and then they took care of the pump replacement the next day. Fair price, great service. Thank you!

They are very experienced and knowledgeable, especially from a real-world perspective (they actually recommended NOT having a repair done which the Dealer said I "needed" - imagine that!). The only shortfalls are: unless you have an emergency, expect to wait a week to get an appointment (but this is probably a byproduct of their success).. and the lady who runs the front desk (not the owner) has no sense of humor and no time to spare - right to the point; all business; no joking; doesn't crack a smile (again, maybe that's whats needed in that position). But they really "got it where it counts" - they know what they're doing, they do it right, if there's a problem they'll make it right, and they charge LESS than the Dealer! I'm a Happy "old-model" Lexus Owner!

Had alignment issue (pulled right) on my Tundra after having "All Terrain" tires installed at a tire center. Brought it to Dan's and they road tested my vehicle under variety of surface street conditions, speeds and crowns (direction of street slant). Then a thorough inspection of suspension, steering and alignment systems and rotated the front tires. The problem was the tires being so new and the aggressive tread can make them drift a bit until they begin to wear. All of this info was carefully documented on my invoice. Great attention to detail of work performed whenever I get service at Dan's. Don't take your Toyota anywhere else!

Had my Highlander Hybrid diagnosed. Dan's provided me with the codes so that I could research the problem, and found that Toyota is offering extended warranty for the parts. Instead of being upset that I would not use Dan's for the repair (since I could take it to the dealership and have it done for free), Angela verified that the issue was covered under that warranty extension by looking it up in the Toyota Service system. Always a thorough inspection that is accompanied with a list of specific problems. And, their reports provide a look into what needs to be done in the future and how many miles before doing certain repairs. If a repair can wait for a while, they will alert you to make the choice. Never disappoints.

Repairs cost.... water pump and stuff has a cost. I would have rather heard $ 1400...and found $ 1,000 ...not the reverse. $ 950 to $ 1400. Not really a complaint ...just a thought. Saves a shock .
