My name is Gian Curry as of 12/3/2012 I am the NEW owner of this Meineke Car Care Center. Please contact me on my personal cell phone @ 619-847-3253 if you have a complaint, or praise! This store struggled in 2011 and most of 2012. Meineke contacted me to acquire this location in late 2012 because of strong track record at Meineke/Econo Lube @ 740 Dennery Rd. San Diego. I am inviting you in to experience competitive prices, professional service and extended warranties including nationwide lifetime parts warranties on many parts. I made the mistake of going to this shop beause they were advertising brake pads at 1/2 price. The old saying "buyer beware" really is true. After nearly $1300 in repairs, I had to have all of the work redone withing two weeks by another shop because the problems persisted and it turns out none of the work I was charged for was either done properly or done at all. Repeated requests in writing for a refund were ignored by the owner. A BBB complaint was ignored. Finally, I filed a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair, where I was informed that this shop was not even registered with them (major violation) at the time they wworked on my car. FYI, shops not registered with the BAR cannot collect money from customers while they are not registered. My fight continues. So, I highyl suggest taking your business elsewhere.
