Transmission rebuild x 2!

Had transmission rebuilt here while it was in business and less than 8k miles it lost second gear. Then two weeks after they had my car again found the gps stolen out of it took it home and the transmission failed 4k miles later on the way to LA! They are not in business but I want to get together people who want to file a class action suit against the owners of what was once Blizard transmission.

Poor Transmission Service

Quality Transmission replaced my 2003 Ford Transmission as soon as it slipped.. Two years (101,000 miles ) later, a gear shattered. It was repaired (replaced ) and the exterior washed, then returned to me in two days, under warranty there was no charge. Quality Transmission in Fresno was closed and after a year reopened as Blizzard Transmission. The transmission slipped so I went back. Susan, the new Owner is nice, but not a Mechanically inclined person. Her counterman upset me to the point that I left because he lied to me about the written service agreement (from Quality) that I presented. He said it was void because it was supposed to be performed at 20,000 miles, not the 25,000 miles in writing on the contract. He stated the written warranty was void. The transmission was repaired & I paid over $800, 1 mile later, it slipped.I brought back. It was returned (dirty) after 8 days and I paid an addtional $1400 Because the right side flange gasket was torqued down before the other side was hung, the left side did not seat flush, 8 months later, I need to place the flange (gasket) for over $110 I will replace both of the donut gaskets myself and save $100 (it is only 4 bolts and 1 tailpipe support). That shop will never see another dollar of mine again. M. Garcia

2014

I had a great experience there until there was a personal issue with the owner and her husband (the manager) she closed the business which is her business but then re-opened under a different name but when I contacted them in regards to my warranty that I purchased on my transmission (which is the reason I went) she will not honor the warranty- I do not want anything more than the service I paid for, I am sorry your personal life had issues but it is no reason to make your customers suffer loss too. I would love to have my transmission serviced under the warranty I purchased. Laurie W

Transmission

Don't know about Bob but I have know Kevin and he will say anything. We had a fantastic experience at Quality Transmission. Here is the thing I knew I had a major transmission problem and brought my car into Art who agreed with me that the transmission was probably finished, he didn't check it yet, but proceeded to give me the description I was additionally experiencing. He proceeded to tell me that they still needed to confirm the problems, but he was spot on. I did need a tranny and I knew that the price was good and the warranty better than Kevin's by far. Quality is a good shop and Art is a straight shooter

Transmission

I recently had at Transmission repair on my Hyundai Sonata I have several cars including SUV's sports sedans and my economy car witch is a Hyundai Accent and my favorite to drive because of the gas mileage, so when it stopped working I took it to these guys hoping it was something minor. But it wasn't so I had to have them rebuild the hole thing.It work better than ever now, the gas mileage is better so I am a happy camper again Thanks Quality Transmissions you guys are good I will refer all my friends to Art and the rest of the company. been back for brakes they are great

Transmission

I had a transmission inspected at some national brand previously mentioned by another customer who also rated Quality Transmission. I will leave their name out of the review. However unlike those other guys Quality took me in the shop and showed me what was needed. I'm a learner and best by sight and I saw the damage to my transmission was only an axle and was pleased that only an axle needed to be replaced and not my transmission. Honesty is important Art is top knotch. I'm not sure about what happened to :BOB: but he must be mistaken. Those other guys do nothing for $35.

Transmission

Very pleased with service, Art took time to tell me what was going on with my transmission and showed my boyfriend the damage. I have a standard Volkswagen Jetta and could not get into gear. Some other shop told me that I needed a transmission but turned out to just need a clutch. No problem getting the best price and warranty. I am happy to refer Art and Company. To bob you have a few facts rather messed up. Kevin has had his License revoked by the Bureau of Automotive Repair and is currently being indited for Fraud fraud. You seem somewhat uninformed. Maybe you are a jealous Kevin? Anyhow Quality Transmission was fair with me and showed me everything and my boyfriend was pleased. We will be back for all future services on our transmissions.

tRANSMISSION EVALUATION

I went to Quality transmission and was told my transmission was bad before it was even reviewed by the technicians. I just explained the symptoms i was having the owner "Art" said right away the transmission was on its way out. This was a red flag for me. I went to better built and spoke to Kevin the ownwer and he told me about this place and who "art" really was. He was the "FORMER" AAMCO in Fresno who was kicked out of AAMCO because of the less than AAmco qualities. Since then i checked to find out through other sources on the internet . I am not the only person who has come into contact with the former AAMCO personality and had a the same experience. BEWARE I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS SHOP FOR ANY REASON..... The problem was a bad connection to my transmission that was causing the problem i was charged 35.00 and it was fixed. I have put over 10,000 miles with no problems still..... Kevin was right i guess???

1999 Chevy Truck Transmission

I went to Quality Transmission for a remanufactured transmission after calling around. I spoke with Art the owner I think he answered all my questions before I would even consider going in. The warranty at Quality Transmission is unlike any of the competition 5 year warranty is really good or 150,000 miles, since I will easily exceed those miles in the warranty period we will see how good the warranty is. I have over 60,000 since the service and the transmission is running strong, I have since been back for other services I got brakes and radiator recently they offer fantastic service and I am a very happy high miles coutomer

Service Provided

The overall experience i had at Quality Transmission was excellent! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the service was top notch, and the prices were fair to say the least. I did price shop around for the services I needed, and Quality was a little on the higher end of the spectrum but I can tell you it was worth every penny. They made sure I had a ride to and from work, and they finished my vehicle in one day, which for a little extra money was well worth it. To be honest I price shopped most local area shops and the "dealership" and Quality was the only repair shop that could finish my vehicle the same day, within my budget. These guys run a professional business where customer service is obviously paramount. Thank you

Service Provided

Quality Transmission does a really great job on all transmissions. I brought my car in because I noticed that my transmission was delaying in its shifting and was leaking. So I brought it in and they test drove it and then put it up on the lift right away and showed ME what was wrong. They explained the options I had, and gave me a great price on a trans rebuild. Now she feels like brand new. I would highly recommend going here for any work on a transmission, they are experts and very professional. They will go out of their way to make sure it gets done right.
