Beach Cities Garage pride themselves on high-quality automotive repair, tuning, customization and restoration. They serve Southern Orange County on all makes and models — with a specialty in European cars. The business originally began in the mid-1980’s as Viking Automotive, specializing in Swedish makes Volvo and Saab. Over the years it evolved in makes and services, now known as Beach Cities Garage. Now under new ownership, many legacy-and-new customers alike enjoy the service and integrity provided by skilled technicians and management. As an independent auto repair shop in Laguna Hills, they take over where the dealer leaves off -- once a car is out of warranty. A full 32- point inspection is done with every maintenance related service. Good advice, honesty, and sound workmanship are key, no matter how simple or complex the job. Genuine and passionate car-people fill the roles within Beach Cities Garage. I had my Corvette in for a couple of minor intermittent issues. BCG spent a significant amount of time time testing, running computer scans, and scratching their heads. Ultimately, they were unable to find the issue. But that's not the end of the story. Sometimes technicians can't find a computer-related problem because the electronics can't *see* that there's a problem. I'm really happy with the job they did: they were thorough, competent, kept me informed, and ruled out a number of possibilities. Their price was totally fair. I guess the moral of the story is that technicians are not magicians. If the car isn't going to tell them what the problem is, I'll have to wait until it's good and ready.

Best Mechanics in Town!
The guys at Beach Cities will treat you right! My husband's Chevy Colorado has been making noises and having crazy issues for the past few years. After a whole bunch of mechanics couldn't fix/diagnose the problems, Beach Cities finally did! The truck is running much smoother now, and we couldn't be happier. I also take my Hyundai Elantra here, and the mechanic told me that there is a special oil filter that needs to used for Hyundai's. The other mechanic was just using an off-brand filter, and it would have caused serious issues in the future. The team is awesome, and I will continue having all my service done here.
