We used to have a family friend fix all of our vehicles but when he moved out of state his brother didn't do much for us. So we started to see Paul at American Tire Depot on Magnolia and he and his team really took great care of our vehicles. This place is awesome. I was looking for a place near me that could perform an alignment on my 2007 Ford escape. The manager there (Don) gave me a great deal, presented me with excellent customer service and treated me like a human being. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR HERE AGAIN!!! I took my car in for an oil change and the next day I noticed something leaking on my garage floor. I took my car back and the owner proceeded to tell me that it was my "rack and pinion" and that "it needed to be replaced" right away at a cost of $1100! The owner was very apologetic and offered to show me what was wrong with my car (I am not a mechanic and would not know what I was looking at even if he did show me). I opted to take my car and get a second opinion and the other mechanic told me that THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR! He stated that someone had just spilled some oil all over the engine compartment and that my rack and pinion was just fine and had no leaks! Now I have to wonder if I was taken advantage of when I had Allstar Auto Center fix my brakes. The owner gave me the same apologetic song and dance that he would have to replace my rotors because they were in such bad condition. I went in there that time for a simple oil change and to have my tires rotated, and walked out of there paying $360. Now I wish I had asked for the old parts to know if those repairs were necessary.

I TOOK A CAR TO AMERICAN AUTOBODY AND REPAIR PER A RECOMMENDATION. I ASKED THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT THE NOISE WAS IN THE ENGINE ON 2/29/2012. THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS 500.00. I WAS TOLD IF I HAD THE CAR FIXED THERE MY TOWEING WOULD BE FREE. [NOT] AFTER A COUPLE MONTHS WENT BY I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. NO PHONE CALLS NO CONTACT WITH ME. I WENT THERE WITH MY SONS AND DAUGHTER IN LAW IN APRIL 20,2012 AND THE MAN WHO WAS THERE WAS TELLING ME IT WOULD COST ME 7000.00 DOLLARS TO FIX THE ENGINE AS IT NEEDED A LONG BLOCK. I TOLD THEM TO LOOK AROUND. THEN THEY SAID IT WOULD BE ANOTHER COUPLE OF MONTHS. IN OR ABOUT MAY I TALKED TO CAMERON AND TOLD THEM TO JUST PUT THE CAR BACK TOGETHER. THEY SAID THEY FIXED THE LIFTERS , CHARGED THE BATTERY, CHANGED THE FLUIDS. CHAIN TENSIONER EGL HEAD SET, CHAIN GUIDE,SMOGGED THE CAR WHICH PASSED, GAS FILTER, RE SURFACED VALVE JOB. THIS TOTAL CAME TO 2245.00 DOLLARS. THE NOISE IN THE ENGINE WAS STILL THERE. THESE PEOPLE COULDNT LOOK ME IN THE EYE WHEN THEY TALKED TO ME. I FIANALLY GOT MY CAR BACK IN MAY 2012. THIS IS NOT I SAY NOT A PLACE I WOULD RECCOMEND TO ANY ONE. AND WILL NEVER GO TO THEM AGAIN. THEY ARE CROOKS AND I' LL TELL YOU WHY. I FOUND A MECHANIC THAT IS WORKING ON MY CAR NOW AND FOR A LONG BLOCK I'M ONLY BEING CHARGED 1750.00 DOLLARS. WHERE DID 7000.00 DOLLARS COME FROM. CROOKS I SAY CROOKS. LIKE THE GENTLE MAN BEFORE ME SAID " HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE BE IN BUSINESS". IF YOU READ THIS PLEASE DON'T GO THERE. NOT A GOOD BUSINESS AT ALL.

I was on vacation with my family and I had a tire that kept losing air. This place hooked me up with a new tire valve and got me back on the road in no time! Amazing work. The owner Kenni is an amazing woman. It makes me feel so comfortable taking my car somewhere to get an oil change especially being a woman because I know they will always be honest with me. I will always come here for any of my car needs.
