I was happy to find out the actual tire pressures to maintain because the psi is not on the tire itself. I would suggest that you give people a card with those numbers on it. My BME has different pressures for teh front and the back.

Being so dependent on my car to meet multiple out of town obligations makes mechanical problems additionally daunting. He seems to get it. Other times, I've had long waits for service, even for rectifying mistakes made by Lloyds. Sometimes it's needing parts to come in - out of everyone's control. Sometimes, it's felt like I've been left at the back of a long line to sit for hours though I was told you"d get to me "soon". That happened a few consecutive times and I was wondering if I needed to find a different shop. My last 2 experiences with Lloyds have been much smoother and I've felt my timing has also been respected. Not sure what else changed, besides Francisco on the desk, but I feel a profound difference. Rather than dreading having to come in and wait and wait, I now feel more trust that my car has a priority. Much appreciated.

Great service as always, but I was sold the wrong size tires! (195/15/60 instead of the stock 185/15/60) Didn't notice it until I did the refund online and the codes were off. Not a huge deal as there's enough rim to support the slightly larger size, but still a goof.

I was very pleased that service was completed very quickly in 15 minutes. I did have one issue after service. My car an Audi Q5 and has a Tire Performance Monitoring System (TPMS) that needed to be reset after the tires were inflated. It went off on me on my way home and I had to go to the nearest garage and they helped me with checking my tire inflation which was correct. But, apparently when the tires are inflated after rotation this system needs to be re-synchronized, that was not done. I did figure it out and reset it.

I did not know if I needed all new tires; however, after talking with your representative that viewed my tires, I replaced them all. He said I might get a few hundred more miles out of two of the tires I had, so I replaced them all. They also gave me a free ride to a location in downtown Santa Cruz, which I very much appreciated. My wife took her car in, I spoke with the mechanic on the phone and we had the necessary work done. It did take extra time to get the parts which I would have expected to be very common parts in local parts depots.

All went well. My only observation was that the repair took longer than I would expect because it seemed that the facility was slightly understaffed and the gentleman doing the work had to do numerous other tasks at the same time.

I've had my cabin air filter replaced once before at Lloyds and checked this time. Both times the contents of my glove box were not removed and replaced in an organized fashion - first time things were "tossed" and second time some things were left on the floor instead of back in the glove box. I'd rather remove the stuff myself and put it back rather than have it "tossed". If this is going to be routine check every oil change then it would be good to have the customer know that and have the option to empty the glove box in advance rather than make it hard for your tech's to empty and put things back the same. It's kind of like going through someone's purse - a lot different from doing things under the hood or under the chassis of the car. Compared to previous visit this one was kept right on schedule, much appreciated that. I'll be back!

The service and work performed were all top notch. It took the amount of time I was told it would take. The shop/waiting area is very basic.

This a vehicle once over prior to smog inspection. The mentioned servicing enabled a pass for registration purposes. This vehicle now has 390K miles. The service personnel were thorough and advised of any necessary improvements. The check list created is a good guide as to what to keep an eye on for future preventative maintenance for the future and status of the vehicle's running order. I always used to shy away from Llyods (no particular reason). I had an experience and ended up dealing with Wendy. Because of my interaction with her, I came back and bought two trailer tires. I used to work for the police department. I would bring my patrol car in and was always amazed at how fast the technicians were. When I bought my trailer tires, your staff loaded them into my truck without me asking for assistance. I went inside to pay and returned to find the tires loaded. I talked about my experience with a co-worker and he agreed that Lloyds has great service.

I Googled Tire Shops in Santa Cruz. Lloyd's Tire & Auto Care came up with Great Reviews. I Called them & explained my situation with Francisco.
