I took my '05 Prius in for a battery replacement. The original traction battery didn't seem to hold a charge any more. In less than an hour they'd done the job, and the new one seems to be working just fine. But they haven't managed to get a receipt to me yet....

Paul and his staff had installed a new hitch receiver on my 2011 Prius. I found that my bike rack wouldn’t work with the new receiver, because the “tongue” of the bike rack would not fully insert into the receiver. Paul was able to see me the same day and ground down the flange that kept my bike rack from working with the hitch receiver. Thanks for the quick fix!

HID light was flickering and often refusing to illuminate. Paul correctly diagnosed the problem, stating that 80% of the time it was the bulb, and 20%, the ballast. He replaced the bulb at very reasonable cost,and solved the problem.

I was able to get in to have my Highlander looked at the same day I called...the problem was diagnosed quickly and turned out to be a false alarm, due to me not closing my gas cap tightly enough! He then took a look at why my bright lights were not working...discovered both bulbs were burned out, replaced them and I was only charged the cost of the bulbs for my entire visit. I am returning to have some brake work done, as well as fix an issue with a wire being shorted out on the circuit board causing my temp to be stuck on 75 degrees at all times. The dealer quoted me well over $1,000 for this repair...I am having it done here for $200! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff. I finally have a place I can really trust when it comes to the dreaded car repairs! Priceless. Thanks guys!

I had one key to my prius and it was so beat up and corroded it didn't work to remotely unlock the car anymore. I got an appointment to get a second key. Even at Boulder Hybrids pricing, I didn't want to pay for two electronic keys, so I wanted one to be a brick. ("If you can fix the old one so that it works electronically, great, I'll buy a brick key. If you can't fix the old one, I'll buy a new electronic key and use the old one as a brick.") Bit of a headache scheduling -- they somehow didn't get me on their books and when I dropped off the car and key they told me the person who did the key work was on vacation, but they'd do their best. I got a call mid-day that there were too many keys in the system and they couldn't make a new key without overhauling the car's computer (or something) so I'd need to just reschedule for when the boss was back in town. I did so. When I picked up the car that evening, the key was working electronically(!) I was told they'd had to put a new case on it and let them know if it worked. I wasn't charged anything. When I came back the next week and dropped the car off, I was told it would be $150 for a new electronic key. Since the old key now worked, I said go for it. When I came back at the end of the day, I was charged $300 since apparently the old key was not simply re-cased but rather they'd made a new electronic key out of it so I'd need to pay for that one too. At the end of the day, that's still WAY cheaper than the dealer, so I just went ahead and paid it. But if I'd known that was what had happened and that I'd already apparently purchased a new electronic key, I wouldn't have bought a second one and just would have asked for a brick key. Conclusion: Good work, good prices, pretty disorganized.

I came away from this visit for a simple oil change somewhat confused and perturbed. Immediately noticed that my car was driving differently; a new hum/vibration from the right front as if something had changed with the passenger side front tire. Called to ask if anything had been done with the tire and was told that back right tire had less wear than front so the two were switched and an alignment was recommended. No one told me this information when I picked the car up. Also,I thought you always rotated all tires at the same time... Took the car for an alignment, which was done and was told there was no difference in wear in all the tires, but they did note that they were all overfilled at 44 psi instead of the 38 psi they should be. The alignment did not change the hum/vibration. I'm wondering about putting the front right tire back where it was to see if that would take care of the problem. With all this conflicting information it's hard to know who to believe/trust. Paul did right by me in the past so I want to give him my business, but now I'm not sure what to do...

The shop itself is small, but there is a coffee shop nearby. Paul has loaned us a car in the past. Once he sent someone all the way to Evergreen to pick up our car and loaned us a car to use while ours was being repaired. We give them our highest recommendation.

I wouldn't go anywhere else, even though I live in Arvada. Paul is honest and won't do work unless it is really needed. He has kept me informed of parts that are probably going to need replacement in the near future, just a a courtesy warning. He is the expert and I have recommended him to other Prius owners. For 'shop amenities', I always plan on visiting the coffee shop at the front of the small business area because Paul's shop focuses on repair of cars. Good coffee and a comfortable place to wait for the text from Paul that my car is done. He even offers a loaner car if I need it.

We're very pleased with the service and are happy to support a small, locally owned business. I recently forgot to put the oil cap back on my 2005 Prius. It took a month before the oil corroded the spark plugs which caused the Check Engine light to come on. Car ran okay before, and after the oil treatment I was getting 57mpg. Paul is proactive, so I know what my next visit will entail and why I need it. The proof is how well my 187k Prius runs.

Paul and his crew are awesome. I have been taking my Prius to these guys for years and have had nothing but good results. Engine work, oil changes, tires, headlights, batteries, cv boot, even windshield wipers. Always have a loaner car ready when I've needed one. And saved me on a Sunday when my car was displaying every warning light. Whether you know cars or don't, these are the guys to trust. Unlike the dealerships that charge you just to plug your car into the computer to see what's wrong, these guys diagnose without a charge. And they will check your oil levels and top you off if you just stop by without an appointment. I'm telling you, these guys are great!
