Machine work for engine overhaul

I took my 22R Toyota engine to him. He bored it, polished the crank, plained the heads, resurfaced the block, did a valve job, and provided me with the new parts and gaskets to put it together. Total cost was under his estimate, and his help and advice was invaluable. I couldn't ask for more.

Resurfaced cylinder heads

I brought my heads to be resurfaced by Kisling. When I got them back there was visible scratches leading to chamber to chamber. I was unhappy with the work so I took it to a DIFFERENT SHOP to do it right. After a few stories about Kisling's work and the people he pissed off other shops know his Name well when ever they get a customer in complaining about him and how he robbed them of there money and by screwing up the work causing it to get more costly for the customer. I got my heads back from the other machine shop I went to. I got them back with no scratches And a mirror reflection quality. Not everyone was so lucky other people had to replace what they where working on because of Kisling.

Complete Engine Machined

Took original motor to Larry Kisling Machine Shop in 2004. He was to bore std block and rebuild big valued heads. Went to pick up, and he had bored 60 over, and crank did not fit. Gave back small valued heads, and said he would make things right with me. Just bring it back down, so I did. This was 9 years ago, and still have not gotten my motor and parts back. Paid him 1,200. Worse machine shop ever.
