Flat tire patch

On the morning of the fourth day of our vacation I noticed that the rental car had a flat tire. The owner of the bed and breakfast retrieved an air compressor and we put enough air in the tire to get me to the north end of town. Anyway I drove across town... (2 Min) pulled into the station and got out of the car. A young fellow said "flat tire?", "yes" I said. Then he began to remove it whereupon he patched it and replaced it (8-12min). I didn't go into the office, we didn't discuss price, they didn't tell me they might get to it by 3pm...he just fixed it and told me "$12" I paid and drove back to the south end of town. I was back at the bed and breakfast about 15-20min after I left, ready to continue our vacation! That was the best flat tire of my life!
