Living in Shelton I have a few car washes to choose from, but wasn't really happy and I wanted to shop around. So I did an internet search of other places in the area and found Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center, which had great reviews. So I called for a quote for a detail and theirs was cheaper. Great! The customer service is AMAZING. As someone who often worries about being taken, it was nice to have Danny explain everything in a way that I could understand. He explained everything and was upfront about the work and the pricing. I was very pleased with how great my car looked and the good customer service. Will definitely be coming back.

A very clean car. I haven't got my car washed in a year. It was covered with everything you can imagine. When i left Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center it looked like new. They took the time to do it right. And the finished product shows that extra TLC they provide. I recommend them to my family and friends.

The workers are well trained, quick, and thorough. This is the only place I'll go to get my car washed; it really beats doing it yourself. They do great work and it is worth taking your car here - you will be happy with the results. The workers are diligent. I have never had a problem with any of the workers here - they just seem so happy to be working and always do an excellent job - Kudos to Danny and the management team for creating and maintaining a well-oiled machine!

I am a huge car enthusiast. I got the Executive full service detail the clay. A car wash is not going to make your car look brand new. Getting your car clayed will. It will actually make your car look better than new because it removes the "orange peel" look. I don't know how anyone would have a bad experience here. I have recommended this company to many people. And that includes many high-end clientele. I hope everyone else can have a great experience as well Great job Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center! You deserve all the accolades for your dedication and hard work! Keep it up and you will be booked in perpetuity!

This place is amazing! The manager, Danny, and his assistant manager, Alan, are really incredible! They are both super sweet and always happy to answer any "silly" questions! I dropped our car off for detailing (I have been here for car washes before, but not for detailing) and they did a perfect job; couldn't believe how shiny and new the car looked. Try their unlimited monthly wash plan for $40 a month. No long-term commitment or contract and I can get a full service car wash as often as I want and my car will always look great! BRILLIANT (as in smart and as in my car's shine)! Keep up the great work.

Car Wash
These guys deserve some applause. I've had my cars detailed here on 3 different occasions even though it's out of the way for me (I pass two other car washes on my way). I'll continue to bring my cars here. Reasons why: ?1. Proof is in the pudding. Simply excellent detail job. Cars were thoroughly cleaned and shined inside and out. Takes 4-5 hours for them to do it, and I can see why. Each time, I literally got more than I paid for. Impressive really, considering I take my 4X4 onto muddy, icy roads and I cart around my dog everywhere. The cars were pretty disgusting and full of dog hair. ?2. Courteous, professional, no-nonsense service. They're busy as heck, but I get a live person on the phone most of the time. One time I left a message, and they got back to me within the hour. I had a prime appointment that I had to move to another day and they did their best to accommodate. That's all I can ask for. 3. These folks are working hard to do a good job and to be attentive to customer needs while stretched thin. We need businesses like this to thrive. Having good service is always refreshing. HINT: Book in advance. They're flexible, but they fill up.

Danny rocks!
Danny rocks! He magically transforms your dusty vehicle into a brand new ride. His whole team is great - professional - courteous - friendly. No need to feel intimidated with all those Mercedes, Corvette, and Porsches under the tent. Whatever you are driving in with feels like a luxury vehicle by the time they are done!

detailed truck
I've had my truck for two years and have never had it detailed so needless to say, these guys had their work cut out for them! When they returned it to me it actually looked better than it did the day I bought it. They were helpful in picking me up from work when my truck was finished... I would definitely recommend Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center to anyone who's looking for high quality work done by experienced professionals. :)

clean my car
I decided to give Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center a try when I wanted to sell my old Jeep Wrangler. We are talking about a 7-year-old vehicle that I have offroaded in for, well 7 years... Never washed as in NEVER. Anyway since it was time to sell I needed a complete and very thorough cleaning, inside and out, to give it some curb appeal and help me get the most $. I paid $225 for everything inside, outside, underneath, and an engine cleaning, which for the shape this Wrangler was in seemed more than reasonable. What gives this place 5 stars versus 4 is the excellent customer service. The manager came to my office to pick up and drop off my jeep... I didn't want to just drop it off there with the key. The guy came out specifically after hours to pick it up from me and put it in their garage. I thought that was awesome and the Jeep was sparkling like the day I bought it when they were done. I'm going to bring my other Jeep in as I realized that I deserve to drive a cleaner car. Why should I spruce it up for someone else! I had a really good experience that warrants 5 stars!

The "Ultimate Car Wash" here is $25
The "Ultimate Car Wash" here is $25 and includes a thorough interior cleaning in addition to the wash. The guys here do an excellent job. They even took a stain out of the front passenger seat. It takes about 20-25 minutes after the wash. While I was waiting, the cashier told me about their unlimited car wash plan where I pay on the first day of the month and I can come in as often as I want (even daily!), so I signed up for the $45 full service wash plan so I can get unlimited washes! What a great deal, now I'm not afraid of Cheerios or dust anymore!

I recommend Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center
Suffice it to say that these guys bend over backwards for you! The first time I met Danny, Alan, Jose, Corey and the crew, it wasn't for a detail. I had run out of gas literally in the full service wash lane and had left my wallet at home (I am a subscriber in the unlimited wash plan so I get unlimited washes during the month and don't need my wallet! They gave me $10 for gas, as well as a gas can and I went to the Mobile station two doors down. They GAVE ME $ and suppressed what urge they may have had to shake their heads and wonder how I'd managed to live this long. But I actually think they are so nice, that judgment didn't occur to them - they are just genuinely nice people and wanted to help. We talked cars for a while - they like my car, so of course they endeared themselves to me...:) They also helped me get the neck of the gas can down into the awkward angle of my gas tank. Did I mention that they did all this in POURING rain, with a smile? Not too many folks with customer service like that! The second experience was under much better circumstances. I needed to get a full interior/exterior detail, and they were AMAZING. I have a black car. Need I say more? The color shows every nick, scratches, swirl marks, generic goo.... These guys took the whole day (I sure didn't mind!) and my black beauty came out with a mirror shine, looking ready to show! My car is getting respect as a collectible (1987 BMW 635CSi), so I'm not only picky, but it takes good, meticulous work to make sure she looks her best. I am VERY pleased with the job they've done. Danny and his VERY hard working crew know their stuff! Carpets, paint, top-notch cleaning materials... You name it, they are up on all the latest. They clearly like what they do and take pride in it. I unreservedly recommend Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center to everyone. Even though there are many detail shops that may be more convenient for me, I come here. The experience and the finished product are totally worth the drive

high quality service
I brought my A5 here a couple of times and I have to say each time I have been impressed with the high quality service. Depending on what service you choose, you'll end up dropping anywhere from $50 to $250. A little pricey, but pretty much in line with other places in the area. If you want to save some money you can always take your car to Bridgeport to get a much cheaper deal, but be careful of the bait-and-switch, because they may not clay your car first which will impact the finished job. Personally, I believe you get what you pay for in life. These guys are all Simoniz certified, trustworthy, hard-working guys who really know and like cars. They've earned my confidence and trust. Got to give them 5 stars for great service and friendly staff.

This sounds cliche, but my car looks brand new. They even buffed the fine scratches on the car's bumper. I am very happy with Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center and will return not only for full service details, but also for my bi-weekly car washes.

This place RULES
This place RULES! I bought my little VW Golf a bit over a year ago and have done a poor job of keeping it clean, especially the beige cloth seats and interior. I have a dog that sheds a ton too and loves to jump into my car with muddy paws. I saw the reviews for this place and decided to splurge. They had a coupon on their website for $25 off a full detail. I'm so glad I went for the full detail. ?Danny and his team are the best. So friendly and honest. I begged to have my car back by end of day, which is sometimes hard if you don't drop it off in the morning because they want to take time and do the best they can. Danny said he would get it done, even if he needed to put a couple guys on it. My Golf looked so good I didn't even want to get into it! My car looks better than when I bought it! Not only did they get every crevice inside, but also they managed to get 99% of the seats looking brand new (There was one small stain that was permanent, but looks WAY better.) Danny kept telling me to "feel my car" ha- the paint was smooth as silk! The best part of all was that they had managed to buff out all kinds of scratches I had on my door and roof. I told my neighbor about it and they had also randomly gotten her car detailed at a competitor's shop. She spent $200 and was disappointed. She should have gone to Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. :-) Seriously, it is worth the money and go for the full detail to get the most bang for your buck. ?I think the work they did will last quite a while, but as soon as I need it I'll be back! While Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center is not the closest car wash to me, I was so impressed with my detail experience that I subscribed to their unlimited monthly wash plan for $40 a month. I can now get a full service car wash as often as I want and my car will always look great!

scrubbed, polished
The Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center convinced me that detailing is really worth each and every cent. I took my Audi to them last week, after deciding that enough was enough, the car absolutely had to be properly cleaned. I did a road trip in the car last Fall, and hadn't vacuumed it afterward, I have a dog that often rides in the back seat and sheds, and the car had done several trips to the beach and there was enough sand in the mats and seats to prove it. That poor Audi was disgusting! I had always been one of those, I'll vacuum the car myself kind of people, but this car also cost a lot more than my previous ones and it was also a lot dirtier than my other cars had ever been (which is strange). The Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center teams, especially Danny, are great. I wasn't concerned about handing them the keys to my car. When I returned for my car that afternoon, it looked like it did the first day I bought it! Everything was thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed, scrubbed, polished and shining. They even cleaned under the hood so that the engine shined! I'm sold on car detailing at Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center and I've decided to give my car a day at this spa once every couple of months. It deserves it. Don't you?

AWSOME Unlimited Wash Plan. Joining the Freedom Unlimited plan costs less than a $1 a day! I can go once a day, every day, all month long! No contracts or long-term commitments so I can upgrade or cancel whenever I want! Now I wash my car at least twice a week keeping my car clean and healthy!

I never had problem with Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. My truck (BTW: it's black) always looks brilliant when it comes out of the tunnel. They may be a little higher on the price, but the other full service car washes in the area cannot compete with the service and quality that is the hallmark of Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. These guys don't rush, even when it is very busy which I like. Thank you!

I used to use the gas station car wash, but I recently got a new car and wanted something more from my car wash. So I decided to search for a new place in the area, and after reading some of the other reviews I was impressed and gave them a shot. My research was rewarded. My car was dirty and the rims were in bad shape as well. I got the $22 supreme wash and it was great! So impressed, not just in how clean and shiny my car looks and the excellent value I received, but with the entire experience - friendly, knowledgeable, uniformed staff, clean property with freshly cut grass, a bathroom that reminds me of the Waldorf Astoria hotel. I'm more than satisfied and have found my new car wash. If you're not sure you want to try them, trust me, you will be happy.

high quality car wash
I've lived in Monroe since 1983 and have been taking our cars to Cyclone Car Wash and now Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. They have always done an excellent job with the car wash, and also do a great job detailing our cars. The car is always properly cleaned inside and out, and the people are friendly and courteous. I recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants a high quality car wash.

top notch detailing
Amazing customer service and high quality work! My hat goes off to the guys at Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center for their top notch detailing on my little ole blue. They washed and polished him up to a showroom shine! ?Appointments were easily made over the phone and they even stayed open late on Saturday for pickup. I'd suggest making an appointment in advance because these guys are swamped! Worth any wait! They'll turn any dirty car into something you'd be proud to be seen in. I've already made another appointment for they clay bar polish in two weeks (I love a Friday detail so my ride is prepped for date night!). I love driving a new car!

in need of a detail sold it
The whole experience was excellent. My car was in need of a detail before I sold it and I haven't seen my car look this good since I drove it off the dealership lot three years ago. It was rainy the day I brought it in and they recommended I leave it over night so it wouldn't get dirty before I had a chance to take photos. I really appreciate all of your help, thanks guys!

By far, Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center is the best place to get your car washed and detailed in Fairfield County! Danny and his team consistently do a great job on my car- inside and out-and has for the past two years since I've been in Shelton. Even when the car needs extra attention after a road trip it looks so good that sometimes I don't even recognize it! As a real estate agent, I have recommended many people to Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center and have back from many people how happy they were with the quality of services as well. Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center rocks. I wouldn't even consider taking my car anywhere else.

Took my car here after a construction site over-spray left little white dots all over the passenger side. I was pretty bummed because the car is brand new and is a dark charcoal color. I was worried about what it would take to get the white stuff off. ??I didn't have an appointment, but just dropped my car in the morning before work and let the Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center guys handle it. I picked the car up after work and it looked great inside and out, though admittedly the inside was already pretty clean. I couldn't ask for a better job!

Wow, I am impressed! Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center did a super job on our Honda Pilot. We needed it to be in the best possible condition for its end of lease inspection... I was not disappointed (and the inspection went well). ??They are professional, personable and take the time necessary to do a complete job on your vehicle. Who wouldn't want that? Oh, and they somehow made the paint surface SOFT - I kid you not - how do they do that? Go ahead; take your car in for a day at Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. It's worth it and anyway; don't you and your car deserve it?

Very quick and courteous staff. Always do a great job. I like the monthly plan, especially in the winter and spring, it is the bargain of the century. It changed my whole way of thinking about car washes. To explain, I used to get my car washed every other week on Saturdays. However, if the weather forecast looked questionable I would defer and go the following. In joining the unlimited wash plan my credit card gets charged on the first of the month and I can go once a day, every day throughout the month if I want. Now I wash my car whenever I'm driving up RT 25 - I don't care about the weather because my car is always clean. Also, instead of waiting to wash on Friday or Saturday when it's really busy, I go during the week so I don't waste my precious time - AWESOME! ?

In and out in under 5 minutes. Super clean job and never had to leave the seat of my car, even when I paid. $9 for the fastest, cleanest wash I've ever had. 10x better than touchless gas station washes which cost more!

After moving here from NJ 2 years ago, I was a little taken aback to pay $16 for a basic in/out car wash. Then I saw the quality of the wash and dry and was very pleased. I have since paid $35 for an interior super clean express detail service and my expectations are consistently exceeded. They are not cheap, but they do provide good value! Thank you.

My car got egged, so I needed a car wash badly. The service advisor was very helpful. The egg left damage, so he recommended a local person that does touch up paintwork inexpensively. I have visited Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center frequently since then and I have always had a positive experience.

I just moved to Monroe Connecticut and this was my first car wash in New England. I chose Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center because they are close to where I live and they sent me a coupon for a free car wash in the mail. I was pleased with the service and attention to detail. Price was higher than I’m used to, but as they say – I’m not in Kansas any more! Additionally, the coupon was for a free $25 car wash, so I guess I shouldn’t complain!

Here's a story of how I got myself into a pickle and was saved by the team at Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. I borrowed my mom’s car to go to Six Flags in New Jersey with my friends... Evidently the last ride I was on was dirty as I unknowingly picked up a piece of chewing gum on my upper ass area of my pants. Being the last ride we were on, we left and went out to the car... I got in the driver’s seat and we drove back to Newtown. Upon getting out of the car I noticed a minty blue smear on the seat where I was sitting... ARGGG! I consulted Google, tried freezing it with ice and scraping it... Freezing it with a can of air thing... the Goo-gone thing... nothing worked! I pulled out my IPhone Google app and typed "car wash" and Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center was the closest car wash to me that had a lot of good reviews. First thing in the morning I called and talked to the cashier and she asked a manager how much it would cost. He told me to come in so he could look at it. Honestly I didn't think they'd want to touch it, but I was hoping. I double-timed it over there, walked in and talked to Danny (the manager). He looked it over and said he'd take care of it. When I asked how much? He said don’t worry about it because it would only take him 5 minutes. He took it under the yellow tent and about 8 min later he drives the car out. What do you know... the seat looks as good as new and smells awesome! Disaster averted! I thanked him and he was very nice throughout the whole thing and told me to have a nice day... I gave him a $20 spot and he said "I'll give this to the guy who worked on your car". He gave it right to his guy, all of it, without question (that dude was stoked!). That's a stand up guy and a great business that I recommend to all. Thanks again Danny!

Truck Detailing
The service and experience I receive at Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center is consistently exceptional. I started just getting my car washed (which has always been phenomenal) and moved up to regularly purchasing express and full service details. Great car wash for a reasonable price. I have both cars on the Freedom unlimited wash plan and I love it. We wash our cars twice a week and there is never a bother. I love driving a clean car and these guys are great at keeping our cars spotless and allowing us to indulge in our passion (clean cars) even during a difficult economy!
