replace headlight

A nice young man said he could replace the head light for me. He finally figured out how to fix it and was done within 20 minutes. A month later, the headlight went out again. I took it somewhere else and they brought me in to look at the damage to the car. Some of the clips that hold the wheel well in were missing(you have to go through the wheel well in some new cars to replace the bulb). The wire that holds the light bulb in was frayed and it caused a ground out, which is why the light went back out. After a new wire harness was installed, the light works again. I am posting this because it could have caused an electrical fire or something else could have happened due to the wire. The car is the one that my wife and children ride in everyday. If you make a mistake, tell the customer. I would have gotten it fixed right away. The car had never had the light replaced before and it was purchased brand new.
