reconditioned cylinder heads
I owned an auto repair shop in O'Fallon Missouri for 28 years. Over the years, I've purchased several cylinder heads from Clearwater and have never had a problem. The cylinder heads I received looked like new heads, not reconditioned. I'm now the Automotive Program Director for Vatterott College in St. Charles, Mo. In fact, I'm about to call them for a price on a head for a 2005 Jeep Liberty.

purchased reman cylinder heads
I have purchased remanufactured heads from this company for several years and have been pleased with their services, If I ever had any problems a quick phone call to them and they always helped me resolve the issue weather it was my mistake or a miss understanding when gave them the information. They have alway's been courteous on the phone and in person when I enter the store. I will continue my business with them and like the fact that they don't question my integrity as a professional and I am the same with them.

Multiple Cylinder Heads
Bought several heads from this business starting with Complete Jeep 4.0L head which were excellent, to complete ford 2.3L Head which our shop had to rework a valve job due to valves not seating properly, and just purchased a recondition, mid 80's GM 2.5L Head which failed our Axe cylinder head pressure test tool twice! After returning the second failed head, I received a phone call from Clearwater stating that they were going to charge us a 20% restocking fee!

Reman Heads
Remanufactured heads arrived dirty with metal shavings in the valve seats and head surface warped. When I called for assistance he was very rude and offered no assistance or refund.

Remanufactured Heads
I ordered heads for a 2006 Dodge Ram. I gave them the casting numbers on both heads to use and explicitly told the guy I ordered from on the phone that they were EGR heads. I recieved a non EGR head and had to have it sent back (STRIKE 1). The shop working on the truck then installed the replacement and started the truck up to hear it tapping badly. (STRIKE 2) They called Odessa who told them to "run it for 50 miles and it would quiet down." He called Odessa back and they sent out new lifters for their "remanufactured heads." I picked up the truck and it drove fine for about 200 miles. The truck started missing badly and threw a CEL with P0300 code for multiple cylinder misfire. After changing the normal parts associated with the P0300 code (spark plugs, coils, EGR, Cam position sensor)and running a compression test, I take it to another shop to have them troubleshoot it. They call me and tell me I have a broken valve spring.(STRIKE 3) The owner after telling me that "Those motors always break valve springs" resorted to name-calling, was exceptionally rude/unprofessional and offered nothing other than for me to send the head back and they'd "look at it." I also heard from my mechanic that the valve spring that snapped was not a Chrysler valve spring because the one he recieved from Chrysler to replace it was different. DO NOT ORDER PARTS FROM THIS BUSINESS. I will be reporting them to the Florida BBB

Jeep 0331 cylinder head
The head is good, customer service was horrible! I paid for expedited shipping and they failed to send it out as promised. After it arrived late I called the owner, Keith, and asked for a refund of the $135 and he refused. He said I could send it back and he would refund it, but the parts were already being installed. After multiple attempts to work something out over the phone, I was hung up on twice. I filed a BBB complaint against them, hope it works out. I would highly recommend NOT using this company, there are multiple complaints against them on the Florida BBB website.

New G54B Head
The head I bought came with a poorly machined cam that was unusable to start with and it also ended up having low compression on all 4 cylinders. Should have kept my stock head and just cleaned it. These guys are not to be trusted and they dont care if you waste half a day using their faulty parts.I just want to smash my car with a hammer cause it is just a waste of time and money. Odessa or Clearwater sucks and the CEO/President is a freakin queer. He needs a black eye on behalf of everyone he sold parts too.

350 chevy vortec cylinder heads
DONT BUY FROM THEM! I bought a pair of heads from them and they were deffective. Mostly all the rocker arm studs were shakey and the same dam stud kept snapping in half! When i called and told them this and wanted my money back, first off they lied and said they haven't had that problem in over 8 years ( just go on their ebay site, multiple people complained of the same problem in the past month) then he said thats not how the warranty works. Id have to send the old heads back and id have to pay for the shipping, then they would have to investigate, then if they determine its bad theyll send me another pair and this can take up to 2 months or more! Why would i want another pair of heads from your company when the ones i have are giving me problems? And how can you expect your buyers to wait months to have their vehicle running?! And they were supper rude on the phone to begin with!! This company is not ran right and they need to get their sh** together or be shut down! Thanks for everything hope your happy with ripping people off and have fun spending my $600 and many other peoples money that you've ripped off :) HATE THIS COMPANY! !! BUY FROM THEM AND YOUR ONLY RISKING YOUR MONEY GOING TO WASTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
