BEWARE OF THE TUFFY AUTO SERVICE IN JOHN YOUNG PKWY THE MANAGER WALDY MARERO IS A THIFT YOU GO IN FOR ENY SERVICE HE BREAKS PARTS TO SELL YOU THEM BECOUSE HE WORKS FOR COMMISSIONS THEN HE TALKS YOU INTO LEAVIN HIM A + FEEDBACK SO HE LOOKS GOOD IN FRONT OF THE OWNER KARL...PLS PEOPLE BE VERY CAREFULL WITH THIS SHOP...

motor mount
I had been going to Tuffy for various repairs for the past 2 years and experienced great service and honest staff...when it was owned by Paul. There has been a change of ownership and our first experience was anything but honest. We took our Toyota in to get a motor mount repaired at our estimate of under $200. When we got the call from, Mike (new owner)we were told that we had a large oil leak that required extensive service to the tune of almost $1200.00. I told Mike the car had not been dripping oil, there was no smell of burning oil and my driveway was free of oil. In fact, we had dropped off the car the evening before and when we checked the parking space in their lot, there was no sign of oil. I asked him how it was possible that a massive oil leak occurred between the parking space in front of the store and when it was on the lift. He said it only leaked when the engine was running. I may be a woman but was not born yesterday. This is an old scam with a new owner. Stay away, you deserve better service than this.
