Auto body repair service near Mims, FL

I brought in my car to repair a smash in the back. When my repair was done the trunk did not align properly. Frank the manager gave me a couple of excuses why it didn't fit properly. First, it was 'they all look like that - go look on the lot'. When I sent a pic of my car 2 weeks prior to the wreck, with the trunk aligned, I received no response. When I returned to have my trunk adjusted Frank refused and told me the power trunk closer warps all of these deck lids. I contacted my insurance as they guaranteed the repairs, they called the shop while I was on the phone, and they said bring it in tomorrow. I sent my wife to the shop where they told her the same 'warped trunk' excuse and wouldn't do anything about correcting the problem. I decided to fix it myself - I have worked body and paint for over 20 years and was certified as a master paint and body tech by I-CAR. When I pulled the stuff out of the trunk, the floor was covered with surface rust from left over metal grinding debris that was never cleaned up. I had to fix that too. I gave 2 stars as the paint work was excellent.

It is now 4 months since they received the vehicle and even though they have been paid in full by the insurance company they still have work to complete. They lie to you about what they are doing. Make promises that they never keep and caused damage to a part that was not damaged by leaving it exposed to the weather for almost 3 months promising to replace the item that was only 4 months old and never did. No one at the dealership will get answers either. Getting ready to turn it over to an attorney. IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE

I was concerned because the review I saw online but the prices were just too good to pass up. The management was clean cut and very understanding with my budget. They arranged a package to meet my needs. 2 days later I get a call that the car was ready. Wow $250 and my car looks 150% better than it did before. We are no longer embarrassed to drive the car. I recently had 2 damaged areas repaired on our 2005 Toyota Avalon. I was looking for a repair shop that had a good reputation and happy customers. I found Phillips Automotive within a reasonable distance from home and seemed to have satisfied customers. The repair was excellent and the car looks like new again! The factory paint is one especially hard to match as there are 15 different variations to the original color name/number. I can't tell a difference! Mike, the owner is especially nice and professional to deal with. I am another satisfied customer!

I’ve been taking my car to Vimar Auto Repair for years now after hearing about them through a close family friend and let’s just say the work they do speaks for itself! Sam is a great and friendly guy that is always trying to help you do what needs to be done and save you as much money as possible. Other shops have told me I needed double the amount of work done just so they can make a buck off of me but Sam has yet to disappoint. He fixes just what needs to be and does it in the most stand up way possible… Thanks guys!
