Service
Dropped my wife’s car off with Ian to have some simple repairs done. He got the car back quick and done right. He was even able to point out some common failure points on the R56’s so that I can keep an eye out and have them repaired before major damage will occur. Will definitely bring the car back here for service. Friendly knowledgeable and fair price.

Engine replacement, 2008 Mini Cooper S
I routinely autocross my 08 Mini, and with 169k of hard track miles, the motor was finally in need of some serious repair. One of the folks at our local autocross recommended that I go and see Ian(owner) at Maitland Importers. He sat down with me, and being an avid autocrosser himself, reviewed what class I was building the car for, and what my goals were. He worked out a very comprehensive motor build for me, and still came in cheaper than a factory drop in motor from Mini. I am amazed, and I cannot say enough positive things about Ian and his team. Anything my little mini needs will be handled by these guys from now on!

I am so glad I found this shop! I did extensive searching using google, and also a mini forum, they had pretty unanimous good reviews and recommendations, so I have to add my own! Ian was the BEST mechanic I've ever dealt with as far as communication goes, he put up with me, he explained everything, and he was very accommodating. The price was GREAT considering the work that was done and that this is a MINI we are talking about. :) You cannot imagine the relief I feel having my problem FINALLY taken care of, and to be done so WELL too. I just can't say enough good things about Ian and Phil! Thank you!!!!!
